I know some people in America didn’t want to see Obama re-elected, but this is just extreme. According to several news reports, 64-year-old Henry Hamilton committed suicide because of President Obama being re-elected. The man owned a tanning salon and promised his friends that he “wouldn’t be around” if Obama won the election. Hamilton was found on November 8, dead from an apparent overdose. The man was allegedly a schizophrenic, and police found bottles of the prescription medications Xanax and Seroquel by his side, along with his will which had the words “F*ck Obama” written on it. I heard about people moving out of the country if a President they don’t support gets into office, but are people really committing suicide over it? Crazy. Epic Fail Or Epic Win? I Can’t Decide! – Hip-Hop Coloring Book Catastrophy!

I’ve been going back and forth with myself trying to decide if this rap coloring book is an epic win or an epic fail. If you haven’t heard about it yet, legendary UGK rapper, Bun B, has collaborated with Hip-Hop writer, Shea Serrano, to create a tumblr account called, Bun B’s Jumbo Coloring and Rap Activity Tumblr. The site holds a a treasure of black and white images of rappers that can be printed out and colored in by you or that underage Hip-Hop fanatic in your family. From being able to color in Nicki Minaj’s outrageous attire or Wale’s dreads – this coloring book is hilarious. There are more sinister photos to color in as well, such as Drake’s eyebrows or covering Game’s butterfly tattoo with something more ‘hood. You can get your rap fix and coloring fix all in one. Chris Brown has had a no-interview policy for a while now, but it looks like Breezy is falling back on his rule and accepting interviews. The talented singer recently did a radio interview with “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” in L.A. and finally addressed the opportunity to fight Drake for charity. Even though Breezy said he couldn’t talk about it, he still implied that if he could, he would most certainly knock Drake the hell out. Check out what he said below: “The only reason I can’t talk about it is because we’re dealing with legal stuff. You know I’m trying to get paid and not trying to give out no information,” Brown said in an interview referring to the Drake incident. “We don’t talk about other guys. We just focus on the music. [Was it more of us hitting one another?] Nah. It’s none of that. I’m more reserved and I box, so it would have been none of that. You know exactly what that means. [laughs]” It’s pretty interesting that Chris Brown said that he’s “trying to get paid” – does that mean that Breezy is suing Drake over the club brawl? It sure sounds that way to me. I guess instead of giving Drake physical pain, Breezy is trying to hurt his pockets. Sidenote – Breezy also spoke about going to the Barclay’s Center with Rihanna to see the Jay-Z concert. Lawda Mercy!!! A local news reporter reporting on live TV on election night just could not figure out what rap star was standing right next to him. First, he referred to the rapper as Wyclef, and then someone behind the camera corrected him and told him it was Wale! Unfortunately, that wasn’t right either, and halfway through his report, a producer got it right and relayed the message to his earpiece that the rapper was actually Will.i.Am. You can’t make this stuff up, folks. Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Freddie Gibbs Cost A Police Officer His Job?

With all of the presidential election hoopla, I completely missed this story about Freddie Gibbs getting a police officer in hot water after the officer allowed him to use his squad car in an upcoming music video for Gibbs’ song, “BFK”. The YouTube video posted is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the music video, showing Gibbs rapping in front of the squad car, which is parked at an angle and has its lights flashing. Three-year Indiana Police Force patrolman Jason Johnson, who also made a cameo in the video in his uniform, was reprimanded and demoted after his superiors caught wind of the video. The story appeared on the cover of the Indiana Post Tribune. According to the paper, in one shot, Gibbs leans against the front fender, and one of his homies says, “We’re smoking weed with the police outside.” The camera then pans to officer Johnson, who is watching the rapper perform in full uniform. This officer is an idiot for 1) allowing his car to be in a music video with people smoking weed, and 2) for appearing in his uniform. I put all of the blame on the officer, and not Gibbs, in this situation. He’s an officer of the law. He should have known better. Sidenote: Freddie Gibbs dry-snitched on a TSA agent last year when an agent let his luggage slide by with two bags of marijuana inside it. The agent left a note in his suitcase that read, “Come’on Son”. Gibbs posted the note on Twitter, and the TSA launched an investigation into the matter. Not sure if anyone was fired over his tweet, but most likely, if they found the person, they were canned. People have no sense when it comes to posting stuff online. Well now that Game has officially been served with the papers, he is now claiming that 40 Glocc is lying about getting jumped and also lying about him having a gun. Little fabrication in there, he said we pulled weapons out and he got jumped. We’ll be back, man. Don’t worry about it.” Can’t the court and police use Game’s interviews and tweets admitting to beating up 40 Glocc against him in court? Well, that’s not stopping Game, because he’s been tweeting up a storm and threatening to “beat 40’s *ss again & again.” In a tweet that has been deleted, Game tweeted, “Called police & a lawyer cuz I beat yo azz. SuperCrip got his cape snatched !!!” Not very smart, Game. Although Dame Dash is still mum on whether or not he and Jay-Z still speak, he gave a very telling interview to our girl, Sharon Carpenter, over at Global Grind, that revealed he and Jay-Z still have a lot of personal issues to resolve. So many issues that Dame suggests that only TV help guru Dr. Phil can help them repair their friendship. Check out what he said below: “All we did is made a company together and sold the company and went and did other businesses. Why can’t two black people do that? Like, that happens all the time. Like, it was a business arrangement obviously. And we do two different kinds of businesses, right? The business we did, we made a lot of money. All good. You know what I’m saying? Maybe what you might want to ask is about the friendship, what happened with that, but that’s more personal. I need Dr. Phil for that one. In the interview, Dame does a good job of staying politically correct…for the most part, and you can tell that he’s definitely a lot more mature now than he was when he and Jay were in the thick of things. But he is Dame Dash isn’t he? You don’t expect him to change that much! Dame is still taking credit for Jay and Kanye West’s success. Last time I checked, $2 Million was a fortune, especially if you owe it to somebody else. Well, according to some people in Lil’ Wayne’s camp, 2 Milli is allegedly “small change” to Wezzy F. Baby. The rapper just lost a little over that amount in a lawsuit brought up against him by filmmaker, Quincy Jones III. If you all recall, Wayne allowed him to do a documentary on him, but then bashed the film and said it was defaming his character. Wayne feels like he was punished for being too sick to fly. According to TMZ, Wayne had a “medical emergency” and was ordered by his doctor not to fly, so he could not make his court date. The judge was not trying to hear that excuse and awarded QD3 with $2,195,000 in lost revenue due to Wayne bad mouthing the indie movie. Sidenote: Weezy was too sick to fly, but he allegedly drove from Louisiana to Miami to attend a Heat game. Talk about not having your priorities in order. Hip-Hop Rumors: Your New Reality Show Rap Star Is….GAME!!!

Rappers have been running to reality TV ever since Flav starred on the “Flavor Of Love”. Actually, they were on reality TV before then, on that VH1 show that had all the washed up celebrities..what was it? Oh yeah, “The Surreal Life”. Anyway, as you guys have heard, hard-core rapper Game has a new show coming out called “Marrying The Game”. The super trailer was released online yesterday and this morning, I got an opportunity to look at it, and I must say that I believe Game may be the next big reality star! The rapper comes across as very charismatic in the trailer, and it doesn’t seem like he’s holding anything back from the cameras. But doesn’t she look a little old for him? She kind of looks like his mom. Oh well. I will definitely be watching this show, “Marrying The Game”, which premieres November 19 at 9:30 p.m. EST on VH1. Will you be watching? Sidenote – Yesterday, The Game was in NYC, and he was doing his part and giving rides to NY’ers to their local polling stations. According to him, he gave free rides to over 60 people and also shelled out $10,000 to 500 stranded NY’ers. Of course, TMZ was there to get it all on camera.
