Nelly Blames Motown/Universal For Disappointing Sales Of ‘5.0’

(AllHipHop News) St. Louis rap star Nelly has lashed out at his record label, Motown/Universal over the disappointing sales figures for his latest album 5.0, which landed in stores last week. 5.0, which was released on November 16th, landed at #10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart after moving over 63,000 copies. Nelly released his album one week before high profile releases by Kanye West and Nicki Minaj, who both trounced the superstar rapper in sales the following week.Universal label mate Kanye West sold over 530,000 copies of his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasty, which is expected to debut at #1 this week.Female rapper Nicki Minaj, also on Motown/Universal, outsold Nelly’s 6th, album by moving 400,000 copies of her debut Pink Friday, during her first week. The rapper took to Twitter and blamed Motown/Universal for lack of marketing as the culprit behind the slip in sales. “A record deal is a 50/50 partnership! As a artist its your job to provide the record company with music that they(record company) can sell,” Nelly tweeted. “Thing about the partnership is that n the public eye the responsibility is not 50/50!the artist is always the 1who catches 90% of the blame The rapper pointed out that his latest album 5.0 has already produced a hit single titled “Just a Dream,” which according to Nelly, has sold almost 2 million digital copies. But the sale of the single didn’t translate into successful albums sales for Nelly, who compared artists on record labels to Interns, with no real bargaining power. Nelly also accused Motown/Universal for undershipping his record. “If u only ship 200 thound [thousand] of an album how many are u f#cking tryen [sic] to sell??,” Nelly tweeted in anger. “The artist does control that nor does he or she control marketing.”Nelly’s last album Sweat/Suit peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 charts in 2005, moving over 400,000 copies during the first week in stores.

WOW! I’ve seen plenty of people mad at the fact that they either have to get patted down and groped at the airport or go through a scanner where they look naked. Well, the fact is the NWO does what the NWO wants. Right? But a hot chick diffused all of that mess. She went to LAX airport in Los Angeles in a damn bikini! The video is below. She wanted to make a point and she did so with NBC. “It’s not that I’m concerned, it’s that I feel like the TSA is making travelers feel uncomfortable, and I feel like we can have security measures that don’t make people feel uncomfortable.” I bet if nasty stank people started doing this too, they would change policy fast. BIKINI GIRL, WE LOVE YOU!!  They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!

Wyclef Jean Speaks Out Against Haiti’s Elections

(AllHipHop News) Former Haitian Presidential hopeful Wyclef Jean has lashed out against the elections in Haiti today (November 28th) in what candidates labeled a sham election. According to reports, 12 of the 19 candidates running for President of Haiti have called for the election to be suspended because scores of people were not allowed to vote, massive fraud and/or voter intimidation. “This is not democracy this is Dictatorship under the Facade of Democracy!” Wyclef Jean tweeted. “But the Haitian people will not be intimidated we want to vote!”Earlier this evening, the candidates issued a joint statement condemning the government and Haiti’s electoral board, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). “It is clear that [current president Rene] Preval and the CEP were not prepared for elections,” said candidate Anne Marie Josette Bijou as the crowd chanted “arrest Preval!”Wyclef Jean appeared to be supporting candidate/musician Michel “Sweet Micky” Martelly, who appears to have the majority of support from the Haitian people. “I am on the car with Micky 250,000 People in the Crowd is Demanding that Sweet micky be the Nex [sic] president,” Wyclef tweeted.”I love my country I love my people. I’m supporting their choice. Every body has the right to choose freely his government,” Wyclef Jean said.

Nelly Discusses Old Beef With Eminem

Nelly has had a few beefs like his highly publicized conflict with KRS-One. There is one other beef that lingered under the surface with a rapper also known for his lyrical prowess – Eminem. But, the Eminem confusion wasn’t a conflict that would play itself out in song. AllHipHop.com asked Nelly about his situation with Eminem and how it almost got out of hand. He’s also frank about how he’s glad he’s not that wild guy anymore. AllHipHop.com: You had a situation with Eminem a while back. Can you tell people what happened with that? Nelly: A misunderstanding. Me being young in the game. Somebody said something that said something, and I reacted to it. Being young to the game and being real influential, and not checking to see if that’s what it was – which it wasn’t. But me, being from St. Louis. Hothead. Young kid. I got kicked out of four schools for fighting. I was just like [to Eminem], “What? Who? What’chu talking about?” Coming in at that time with Country Grammar, you’re getting a lot of [beef], you know what I’m saying? But what people don’t understand is that when I made Country Grammar, that sh*t was gangster! I was coming “down down, baby/Your street in a Range Rover/With a street sweeper, baby/Cocked, ready to let it go.” You know what I’m saying? I didn’t change that record. The label changed that record to “boom boom/ahn ahn.” I didn’t give a f**k. I was from St. Louis. I had a record deal, and they was gonna put this record out? Y’all can do whatever the f**k y’all want with that record. I don’t care, ‘cause y’all gon’ give me what? [holding up an imaginary check] I got this check,a nd sh*t back then, it was only like $40,000, but I didn’t give a sh*t. I was like, you guys are kidding me! But again, that was that mentality. So, when I thought I heard something, and that something was true and someone was coming at me…I mean, I did have people coming at me at that time. I heard a lot of talk like, “He ain’t a rapper…he’s this, he’s that.” And I’m just like “Well, muthaf**ka, where ya at?” I’m tremendously glad that that’s not my mentality now, and nothing came from it, considering if you look at how so much has happened in hip-hop from misunderstandings and things and people being influenced by the wrong things. I’m real fortunate and thankful that that’s as far as it went.

Review: Cassidy – “C.A.S.H.”

Rating: 6/10 With the release of C.A.S.H. (Cass’ A Straight Hustla), this marks Cassidy’s fourth studio album and his first in his newfound record home with Krossover Entertainment, which is run by NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony. Under a new label, Cassidy’s hoping to finally break out with a solid album that can withstand the criticism he’s been levied for albums past. Unfortunately, this album suffers from several flaws that holds back any potential it may have had to alleviate those claims. The biggest issue with C.A.S.H. is the uncompleted sound the songs carry, which is due to the poorly constructed hooks that plague the album. “Paper Up” has a basic premise of making money, but the sing-song hook from Cassidy takes away from the otherwise good record. This happens again on “Hate Me Or Love Me”, where the hook features an autotuned Cassidy. The rest of the song, again, is solid, but the hook detracts from the overall record and knocks the replay value of the track much lower than it deserves to be. Sadly, this happens yet again on “All Day, All Night”, which features an in-and-out flow from Cassidy and Game. On paper, it sounds like a great idea, but once again because of the hook, the overall value’s taken away from the song, making it forgettable. Another issue with this LP is in the production. On certain songs, the production excels and sounds diverse. The feel good vibe to “Paper Up” fits the overall message of the song perfectly, while the Bink-produced “Monsta Muzik” lays a ruthless backdrop for Cassidy to unleash his barrage of bars, and the self-produced “Girl Like Her” meshes well with Mya’s vocals over the hook. For every positive example however there’s a negative one, and the most recurring is the Swizz Beatz style of production that’s scattered throughout the album. “One Shot”, “Drumma Bass”, and “Music In My Blood” (all produced by Cassidy and Top Notch) all have that Swizz Beatz feel to them. Due to the fact that Swizzy wasn’t a visible part of the album it doesn’t come off as polished as previous tracks that Cassidy has done with the producer. It seems as if Cass is trying too hard to recreate the hype from his past, such as “B-Boy Stance” and “My Drink N My 2 Step.” There are some bright spots on the album, however.  “Girl Like Her” features Mya and is by far one of the best all-around tracks on the CD. “Monsta Muzik”, as mentioned earlier, is nothing but Cassidy rapping through and around the sampled beat with his signature punchline flow.  The Boi-1da produced “Peace” has Tha Hustla reflecting over a life that didn’t involve violence. The outro track, “In My Blood”, has some of the more vicious bars I’ve heard from Cassidy throughout the entire project. Outside of these tracks, however, things become more forgettable. The Jamaican vibe on “High Off Life” starts well, but loses it’s vigor as it continues. The verses delivered on “Imma G Boy” are also forgettable, save for a few clever lines. It’s unfortunate that Cassidy is unable to maintain the consistency on each track. Because of the issues with song construction and Swizz-like production, C.A.S.H. gives the vibe that Cassidy is trying too hard to make another hit record as opposed to making a quality album. Although there are bright spots, lack of consistency makes the bright spots far between. Hopefully the next album will continue to step in the right direction.

Review: Yelawolf -“Trunk Muzik: 0 – 60”

Rating: 7.5 / 10 Gadsen, Alabama, isn’t a place you would expect one of the next prominent rap artists to rise from, but Yelawolf isn’t exactly what you’d expect from a rap artist. Although his image gives off a rock-skater vibe that even infiltrates his musical style at times, there’s no doubt when he opens his mouth that his rap flow and presence on the microphone exceeds most of his peers. After finally inking with Interscope Records, being cosigned by several prominent figures such as Eminem, Raekwon, and Shaquille O’Neal, building buzz by being associated with acts such as Big Boi and Juelz Santana, and delivering one of the show-stealing verses on this year’s BET Hip-Hop Award cipher, Yelawolf’s mixtape-turned-album Trunk Muzik: 0 – 60 is quietly being released to little fanfare. Although it’s not being advertised as much as other artists, it’s still a great debut from a potential superstar in the making. Yelawolf’s diverse approach to rhyming is one of his calling cards, and he shows off his different rhyme schemes throughout the twelve tracks on the LP. From his rock-influenced slow flow on “Get The F**k Up” and “Marijuana”, to his unorthodox flow on “That’s What We On Now”, to his well-polished rapid-fire flows on “Good to Go” and “Trunk Muzik”, Yelawolf impressively varies his flow on almost every track to mesh with whatever beat he’s rapping over. The production here is strong as well; Trunk Muzik manages to keep it fresh without letting up on your speakers or sounding generic. The album features also make things interesting. Gucci Mane delivers a surprisingly strong verse in “I Just Want To Party,” Bun B bites Yelawolf’s rapid-fire flow successfully in “Good To Go”, Ritz The Rapper accompanies Yela on “Box Chevy”, and Raekwon gives Yelawolf one of the biggest cosigns in recent history in “I Wish.” Aside from these tracks however, Yelawolf keeps the features light, handling most of the rapping duties solo. Although the album isn’t lengthy at all only being 12 tracks, and a couple of the songs are dated from earlier this year (“Pop the Trunk”), this is still a more than dope album. Yelawolf holds his own throughout with impressive flows, trunk-rattling beats, and a few high-caliber cameos, making Trunk Muzik 0 – 60 well worth the price of admission.

Review: Lloyd Banks – “The Hunger For More 2”

Rating: 7.0 / 10 Lloyd Banks new album has been widely anticipated for some time since the release of his radio smash “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley.” Slowly but surely he’s been building up hype by biting the Crooked I formula of releasing a new song every week. Now The Hunger For More 2 is ready for release and hopes to not get overshadowed by releases from Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. Although it’s shorter on music than the two aforementioned titles, Banks new LP is still solidly constructed enough to prove that he’s arguably the best rapper in G-Unit. THFM2 plays more like a compilation of songs as opposed to an album due to the massive amount of features on the record, which includes Ryan Leslie, Kanye West, Fabolous, Juelz Santana, Swizz Beatz, Jeremih, Akon, Pusha T, Raekwon, Lloyd, and his G-Unit cohorts 50 Cent and Tony Yayo. This wouldn’t be an issue if the album was longer, but there’s only 13 tracks and almost as many features. Almost every song has a different style or topic to it, and this takes away any type of cohesion or flow it had going for it originally. This also leaves something to be desired on tracks where Banks is solo, including “On The Double”, which suffers from a weakly constructed hook that makes the entire song sound out of place on the album. Even with that being said, THFM2 is still a solid album. Most of the features help to boost the value of the song. Juelz gives a show stealing verse on “Beamer, Benz. or Bentley”, 50 Cent comes through with an addictive hook on “Payback”, Kanye goes in with vintage quotables on “Start It Up”, Styles P meshes with the grimy undertone for “Unexplainable”, and Pusha T shows the difference between him and Dr. King on “Home Sweet Home.” On almost every song, Banks’ wordplay and multi-rhyme schemes shines, even if the song itself is far from impressive. It’s no debate that Boy Wonder’s writing has improved well beyond the last time we heard from him, and it dominates throughout. Aside from the clutter of features and the occasionally out of place song, Lloyd Banks has done a solid job with THFM2. Because of the variety of topics there’s something here for everyone, but it won’t appeal strongly to anyone who has not been rocking with Banks and the Unit to begin with.

Andre Berto: Now or Never

The clock is ticking on Andre Berto. It may seem strange to say that about an athlete just entering his physical and mental prime at 27 years old. But after years of being spotlighted on HBO, Berto’s talent has not quite matched up with his competition. It hasn’t all been his fault. The devastating Haiti earthquake robbed him of nine family members and a chance to face Shane Mosley in January. Other fighters, like Miguel Cotto, have declined to fight for the rest of the year. At the same time, no one wants to hear excuses in the real world, and Andre Berto has had to hear mounted criticism throughout 2010 on his opponent selections. Tonight, Berto won’t dispel those complaints by facing a tough but unheralded Freddy Hernandez on the undercard of Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Michael Katsidis. But the WBC welterweight titlist is committed to giving fans the fights they want from him in 2011. Read up on Andre Berto’s strategy to get his career to the next level. AllHipHop.com: Has it been difficult getting up for Freddy Hernandez? Andre Berto: Well I don’t know too much about Freddy Hernandez. I know he’s a tough competitor, so I still need to be sharp. I have to treat it like I’m fighting one of the top guys in the division. I can’t look past this guy at all. AllHipHop.com: I know you’re heard the media and fan criticism. What’s your take on the quality of opponents you’ve been facing lately? Berto: I mean things have been going smooth. I had the Mosley fight set up and that couldn’t happen because of some personal issues with Haiti. We tried to get him again for this fight, and he chose another fight with Sergio Mora. We tried to get the Cotto fight done this year. He wanted to take the rest of the year off. We had to look at other options, and Freddy Hernandez was the last guy. AllHipHop.com: About the Mosley fight, it’s been said the reason the fight didn’t happen is because you wanted a 50-50 split. Is that true? Berto: I’m not sure, that’s a promoter thing. Everything was good on our end. I believe he felt he could beat Sergio Mora. He wanted a fight he could win. He just didn’t want to do it this time around. AllHipHop.com: With two of your targets in Mosley and Cotto moving up, would you be willing to follow them, or does a potential fight have to be at welterweight? Berto: Freddy Hernandez is the focus. But after that, we’ll do whatever we have to to make the fights I want happen. Those are fights the people want. So I have to go up or do a catchweight, I think we can all agree to make these fights happen. AllHipHop.com: What’s your take on Haiti? It’s coming up on a year since the earthquake. Has the progress stalled? Berto: There’s still a lot of work to be done. Everybody has probably heard about the e-coli virus that’s going around. I can’t take much of a break right now, but I try to go down there whenever I can to work with all the foundations to make something happen. It’s still a big struggle. AllHipHop.com: With your last fight, you went after Carlos Quintana from the beginning. Because you’ve got so much criticism from all the holding with the Juan Urango fight, was that a conscious decision to prove everyone wrong? Berto: Yeah, and with me the criticism is tough in general. I came in with high expectations out the amateurs. From the beginning I’ve always been that exciting fighter that tries to bang these guys out. That’s how I got my hardcore fans. But then the criticism was that I banged too much and needed to learn how to box. Now I try to think my way through fights and mix it up. It’s still a learning process for me as well. You really can’t pay attention to that. I have to continue to be smart and aggressive to get these guys out of there. AllHipHop.com: Did the Pacquiao-Margarito fight go like you expected? Berto: It was a good fight. It went the way most people thought it would go. I believe Pacquiao’s speed and class was from a totally different world. Margarito was too slow, flatfooted, and stood right in front of him. Pacquiao just had a field day with him using his speed and agility. He just beat him up. AllHipHop.com: You have any idea of your schedule? How quickly will you be back in the ring after this fight? Berto: Right now I’m not sure. I have to focus on Freddy Hernandez, because if I don’t get past him there won’t be any fights early next year [laughs]. But if everything goes well I want to be back in there as soon as possible. AllHipHop.com: Is there any extra motivation now that you’re opening the card instead of being the main event? Most of your HBO appearances have been as the main event. Berto: It feels good, actually. It feels like I’m back in the old days again. Either way it goes, all eyes are going to be on the fight, no matter if I’m the main or co-main event. I just need to perform. I might try to outdo my co-main eventers. It’s going to be a good card. AllHipHop.com: Since I know you keep up with Hip-Hop, who would you say are your Top 5 emcees of all time? Berto: All time? Number one is Tupac. He just spoke on real life issues and wasn’t just a gangsta rapper. He was aware of just life in general. Definitely Biggie; a lot of the things he did were just legendary.  Another from the New York scene is Jay-Z. He’s a good friend of mine. He’s someone I spoke to that definitely influenced me when it comes to the street game as well as the corporate […]

Well, if you do, then you remember the golden age for Kim as that was when she was bringing heat like no other. So, right now, she is reportedly working with Polow Da Don, Will.I.Am and others to get that old thing back and I’m sure to shut up Nicki too. That rant about Tupac Funk Flex did is not going away fast enough like when somebody farts hellaciously! Now, I am hearing that Layzie Bone is going to be the next rapper to crank out a diss to the big NY DJ. Layzie has his imprint Mo Thugs records and rappers like D-Rado & Big Sloan and they are recording a diss record, I am hearing. I heard it is also to support the efforts of The Outlawz, who were Pac’s rap group when he was alive. They put out “Warning Shots” last week. You should know that Pac and Bone had a heater of a song back in the day, produced by the good Dr. Dre if my memory serves me correct. Here you go. That song was crazy! EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY! Jay-Z is starting a new clothing line called Roc Apparel and he intends to give E a job and he wrote a letter to a federal judge as proof of his intent. “I believe his attributes – including intelligence, interpersonal skills and solid work ethic – will be a significant asset for my organization… he is an honest and reliable individual; it would be a privilege to offer him an opportunity.” Rumor has it, Emory helped Jay quite a few times, back in the day. Football: If You’re Not From The South, You Suck!

When you look at football there is an overwhelming trend that becomes apparent after some time: Southern players are the standard in the sport. Kids from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina Texas, Oklahoma etc. are more talented year in and year out than any dream team from New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan or any Northern state for that matter.     Colleges that feed off these fertile recruiting grounds have proven that time and time again. Eight National champions since 1999 have come from the South. The SEC in particular has also impressed wining the last four national titles with Auburn a serious threat to make it five in a row this year.   There are several theories that persist as to why the Southern athletes are superior to their Northern counter parts. Some argue that it is the shorter and milder winter especially in Texas and Florida that allows athletes to train year round. If you ask coaches they will tell you that the South simply grows bigger, faster, more athletic defensive lineman which is the foundation of why the SEC is and always will be a dominant conference. I can name 20 current and former Florida Gators and can’t name a single Syracuse Orangeman football player outside of Marvin Graves and Donovan McNabb.   Speaking of Florida it’s nicknamed is the “Speed State” and has single handedly supplied some of the greatest dynasties of our time with every single drop of their talent from FSU, Miami and Florida. Every team in the country has staff dedicated specifically to recruit the South. The decline can also be seen in how competitive the Northern schools have been in the last decade. Ohio State the best of the Northern challengers annually gets its brains beaten in by the best Southern teams and its last victory over Miami for a national title was….ahem, suspect. Outside of California or Texas no other states have enough talent to even provide a team that could compete with the South. Oregon, Ohio State and Penn State still raid the South as best they can to “keep up with the Joneses” Oregon’s entire starting backfield is from Texas. I don’t know whether it’s the combination of speed, extra sunshine or just simple population distribution at work. At the moment, the South is king and there is nothing anybody can do stop it. Boise State and Oregon can be my guest to prove me wrong. The powers in the South may shift, but the talent never will so once again.  P.S. – With turkey day coming up and all these big match-ups along with it, I will provide you with some winners since you will already be losing by eating turkey at 5 am in the morning.   Nevada vs. Boise State  Boise does not lose the games that should not, which is another reason they get on my nerves….. Boise by 14  Texas vs Texas A&M   Bevo takes one final kick in the teeth as the Ryan Tanehill legend grows bigger by the day. Texas A&M by 3  West Virginia vs Pittsburgh   The jerseys in this one will be better than the game. Geno Smith leads WVU to victory in their Nike Pro Combat Jerseys…  WVU by 7  Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State   OSU still sucks and I don’t care if George Jetson is running the offense OSU is still inferior.  Oklahoma by 30 as is the NORM   Florida vs Florida State   Remember that “FSU is the new king of the Sunshine State” article the world killed me on in the pre-season, well eat my shorts *bart simpson voice* Noles by 10  Hope you enjoyed your Turkey Day – sincerely from the staff at 6magazine.

Luke Campbell Lands Assistant Coach Job For Miami Central High

(AllHipHop News) Former rap star Luke Campbell has stepped away from the entertainment industry to help the local Miami community, as the assistant football coach at Miami Central High School. Campbell, who is almost 50, is a former group member of 2 Live Crew, a group signed to his pioneering independent Miami-based label, Luke Skyywalker Records. Campbell has traded his raunchy image for the assistant coaching position, where he coaches boys, both on and off the field. “I’m happy and proud of what we accomplished but that part of my life is over,” Luke Campbell told the Bellingham Herald. “The entertainer – I left him on stage.”In his role as an assistant coach at Miami Central, Luke stresses the need for teamwork, education and maintaining a positive attitude. “I don’t tolerate cursing or the N-word,” Luke continued. “I tell them, ‘Don’t ever disrespect a girl because that makes you less than a man.’ And ‘Pick the girl who is responsible, not the one with Fs on her report card. Easy to get in, hard to get out. I’ve lived that life.’”The former rap star was cleared by the Miami-Dade Public School system to coach the team, after Campbell received letters of support from community leaders, parents, neighborhood kids and Central High’s principals. Luke is much more than a coach, according to C.J. Gaines, an 18-year-old wide receiver for the Rockets. “I don’t see him as a rapper,” Gaines said. “I see him as a father.”

I am hearing that it could be some sort of hoax as people do some maintenance. Here is a report from http://www.myce.com/ : The Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement raided a file sharing site for rap and hip hop music this week after obtaining a search warrant signed by a United States Magistrate. RapGodFathers had nearly 150,000 members and had been in operation since 2005. DHS and ICE agents raided a Dallas datacenter Tuesday and seized the sites servers, while authorities began the process of taking over the domain name. But were any of the activities taking place on those servers actually illegal? “We only link to mixtapes, albums in the hiphop/rap genre,” a senior staff member told TorrentFreak after the raid. “Lots of those mixtapes help new artists become much bigger for example Drake, Chamillionaire, Wiz Khalifa. It also gives the users to listen to an album before buying it to judge the quality. Almost 99% of the time if people on RGF liked the album and posted positive comments, that given artist had a big success.” “We ALWAYS removed links connected with any DMCA requests so this is a big surprise to us and our host because we collaborated to get all the links removed asap,” the staff member claims. The site owners are making attempts to get back online quickly with a new domain name and alternate hosting outside of the United States. It’s sad that even sites which are supposedly compliant with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act are being subjected to this kind of treatment from the government. This is further proof that the country is making progress toward becoming some kind of a police state. Citizens need to start fighting back and voicing opposition to actions like this before its too late. ILLSEED’S QUICKIES On Monday, in the haste of my rush to start my Thankstaking break, I said “S. Lil Kim Fires Back At Nicki Minaj In New Diss Song

(AllHipHop News) Lil Kim has been quiet as Nicki Minaj has had disparaging remarks to her rival, but now Kim has returned fire with a new diss song called “Black Friday.” The song, which has leaked online, has Lil Kim lyrically challenging the now-dominant Nicki Minaj. On the song, Kim spews, “I’m turning Pink Friday to Friday The 13th.” “Aight, you Lil Kim clone clown / all this buffoonery s**t stops now / Time for you to lay down / I’m sick of the fraud / I’ll put hands on this b**ch like Obama’s guards,” Kim says. “We all know your last name / what got you your job / You a put together gimmick / something like a collage.” In the song, she also mentions Nicki Minaj’s Young Money ally Drake. “This his hood sh**t you and Drake ain’t built for. This sh**t the other b**ch almost got killed for…” The song continuously refers to Nicki Minaj as a copycat artist that has stolen her style, which debuted in the 1990’s. Nicki Minja has always mentioned Lil Kim has one of the rapper’s she admired, but recently told Angie Martinez that Kim’s present stance mars her legacy. “I feel like you’re gonna go down in history now as a sore loser, as opposed to going down in history as the queen because if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em,” Nicki told Martinez. “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. You don’t have to feel the need to put somebody down and make yourself feel better.” The song was debuted on Hot 97 with DJ Absolut and the full song is expected to drop tomorrow, Black Friday. Minaj’s Pink Friday was released on  Monday and is expected to sell about 375k – 425k in the first week. Click here to download clips of the song.
