(AllHipHop News) DMX has been arrested again. The gruffly-voiced New York native was arrested in the Maricopa County section of Phoenix on Thursday for a parole violation and jailed. The rapper was incarcerated for failing to report to his probation officer.  This is the sixth arrested in Maricopa County alone for DMX.X, real name Earl Simmons, was on parole after a conviction related to an assault. DMX recently performed in the area at a show where him yelling “F** Jay-Z” garnered him headlines throughout the media. (AllHipHop News) Rap group Black Eyed Peas have been confirmed as this year’s halftime entertainment for Super Bowl XLV, in an attempt to update the halftime game’s image. The Peas’ performance on February 6th at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas, is the first time an urban/Hip-Hop group has played during the Super Bowl’s halftime show since 2004. While rap artists like Nelly, Kid Rock and Diddy performed, scandal erupted when R&B singers Justin Timberlake ripped Janet Jackson’s shirt open and exposed her bare breast, causing what was later dubbed “nipple gate.”The stunt caused nationwide outrage and in the ensuing aftermath, CBS was fined $500,000. According to the Dallas Morning News, The Super Bowl is the biggest concert of the year, drawing over $107 million viewers. The NFL has been criticized over the years for the choice of performances during the Super Bowl’s after “nipple gate,” which included artists like Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and The Who. The Black Eyed Peas’ new album The Beginning is due in stores November 30th.

(AllHipHop News) Faith Evans, former wife of the late Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, recently spoke on the death of her world famous ex-husband, who was gunned down in Los Angeles in March of 1997. B.I.G. was involved in an ongoing feud with Tupac Shakur, who had been gunned down six months earlier in November, on the main strip in Las Vegas. While both murders have been the subject of intense debate and investigation, no one has ever been charged in either of the high profile deaths. According to Faith, the family of B.I.G. has an idea of what happened to her husband, although she doubts it will ever be solved in the United States court system. “The family – we have an idea what happened. We don’t know who pulled the trigger but we have an idea what went on,” Faith Evans told UK newspaper The Voice. “It’s not something I would speak on because it’s still a pending case, so that wouldn’t be smart at all. But we have an idea, though we don’t know if it will ever be solved in the judicial system.”Faith’s new album Something About Faith is in stores now.

According to reports, Nas and Damian Marley will perform dates in London, Glasgow and Manchester in the Spring of 2011. The pair will perform songs from their lengthy back catalog, as well as selections from their hit collaborative album, Distant Relatives. The dates mark Nas and Damian Marley’s first joint concert in the UK since July, when they performed three sold-out dates in the United Kingdom. Rick Ross skipped his performance of “Aston Martin Music” with Chrisette Michele, outraging the R&B singer, who blasted the rapper in her blog. Rick Ross was upset that his hit single “B.M.F.” lost to Eminem and Rihanna’s single “Love The Way You Lie” and promptly exited The Soul Train Awards. “What exactly happened was I came the day before and they gave me a mic just to do rehearsals and I had no input on the performance,” Ross explained to the BBC’s Tim Westwood. “We done worked a long time to get in this position, just not to be thrown on stage…it wasn’t nothing personal to no one. It was no beefs.”Washington, DC rapper Wale will give back to his hometown community this Thanksgiving, by hand delivering food to those in need in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia region.
