(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop star B.G. has been hit with a lawsuit from his neighbors who claim the rapper filmed a part of a rap video on their property without permission. Plaintiffs Shyrl Patterson Bagneris and John Bagneris filed the lawsuit in United States District Court, Eastern District Louisiana, claiming B.G. shot the video for “My Hood” without the proper city permits. The Bagneris’ claim that the rapper trespassed on their property with a film crew of over 40 people, complete with commercial lighting and other “heavy duty equipment.”They claim they sent a cease and desist letter to B.G., but the rapper ignored the warning and continued to promote the video without the proper authorization. “Plaintiffs are upstanding individuals in their community who do not wish to be associated with rap music, B.G., Chipper City Records and other defendants associated with the music video “My Hood.”The Bangeris’ claim B.G. and Chopper City Records are accused of violating the Lanham trademark act, unjust enrichment, trespass to land and intrusion on seclusion. The Bangeris are seeking a trial by jury and seek no less than $150,000 in damages. 

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop pioneers Eric B. and Rakim will be inducted into the Long Island Hall of Fame during a ceremony that is slated to take place next month in Long Island, New York. The rappers will be inducted at the lavish Oheka Castle on November 16th, joining a prestigious list of inductees that include Lou Reed, Donny McClurkin, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Steve Martin, Run-DMC and others. “No one can deny the huge contributions that both Eric B. and Rakim have made to hip hop history. Few can match the turntable skills of Eric B. and Rakim’s vocal style changed rap forever,” revealed Long Island Hall of Fame Vice Chairman Tom Needham.Needham also revealed that Eric B. and Rakim will make their first high-profile appearance together in over 15 years. (AllHipHop News) President Barack Obama will tap the power of Hip-Hop music again this Sunday, during the “Moving America Forward Rally” this Sunday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Roots and popular Power 99FM DJ/TV host DJ Diamond Kuts will perform during President Obama’s rally, which will take place in the park next to Robert Fulton Elementary School.Once the rally is over, Diamond Kuts and The Roots will meet with the President, who is on the campaign trail to rally support for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Joe Sestak and gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorat, who are running in the November 2nd election.The president’s affinity for Hip-Hop music has been widely documented. In addition to meeting with rappers like Master P., Jay-Z & Beyonce, Ludacris, D.M.C., B.o.B. and a host of others, Barak recently admitted to being a fan of artists like Nas and Lil Wayne. “My rap palate has greatly improved,” President Obama told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I’ve got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert.”In addition to spinning on Philadelphia’s Power 99FM, DJ Diamond Kuts is a host on BET’s Hip-Hop show, The Deal. The Roots, who hail from Philadelphia, are one of the most respected bands in the world and currently serve as the house band on The Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show. (AllHipHop News) Ra Diggs, a Brooklyn rapper in a group with Uncle Murda and Waka Flock Flame, has been arrested and charged in a federal indictment for dealing drugs out of the Gowanus Houses since 2008. Ra Diggs, born Ronald Herron, was arrested outside of Club Amnesia in New York on Tuesday evening (October 5th) and was one of eight men charged with a variety of crimes, for allegedly flooding the Gowanus Houses with drugs. According to the New York Daily News, police started an undercover investigation in 2008 and made over 65 drug buys from Gowanus and his violent crew, which has also been linked to four murders in the Gowanus Houses. Federal authorities are using Ra Diggs’ tweets and YouTube videos to make various allegations against Ra Diggs. Ra Diggs, who beat a murder rap in 2002, is also being investigated for his role in up to four murders, although no one has been charged with a crime in regards to the slayings. In addition to the aforementioned crimes, feds also claim Ra Diggs referenced the murder of a victim who was helping authorities, according to U.S. Attorneys in the case.Ra Diggs is a member of the ‘Murda Team’ with Uncle Murda and Waka Flocka Flame. He is featured on the track “By the Gun” on Waka Flocka’s new album Flockaveli.  Ra Diggs faces up to life in prison if he is convicted. Ra Diggs – G’D Up (feat. The celebrity basketball game taking place in October, because its National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a national holiday/campaign aimed at raising funds for research to find a cure for the deadly disease, which affects 1 in 8 women in the United States, which logged over 200,000 new cases in 2010. The Celebrity Benefit for Breast Cancer Awareness is slated to take place at Morris Brown Gym in Atlanta, starting at 7:00 PM. Other confirmed participants include Drumma Boy, Lex Lugar, Slim Dunkin, Soutside, Wooh da Kid, Keepo Gotti, Josh Towell and Day 26.
