(AllHipHop News) The March For Our Lives in Washington went down yesterday, with tens of thousands of students rallying in support of stricter laws regarding gun ownership. Rappers like Common, Vic Mensa, Kanye West and even Snoop Dogg rallied in support of the idea. However, two well-known rap stars took an opposite stance as the marches took place. Run The Jewels group member Killer Mike dropped a PSA with the NRA supporting gun ownership. In fact, in a segment titled “The March to Less Freedom,” Killer Mike told NRA TV that he actually made his daughter undergo firearms training, after a 2017 shooting at Savannah State University, where she is a student. “We are a gun-owning family. We are a family where my sister farms,” Killer Mike said. “We are a family where we’ll fish, we’ll hunt, but we are not a family that jumps on every single thing an ally of ours does because some stuff we just do not agree with.” DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia echoed Killer Mike’s concerns, however, Paul seemed more ready for the apocalypse than another school shooting. The Oscar Award winning artist referenced an old episode of 20/20 which aired in 2007. In the segment, a guest predicted America would run out of money for homeland security within 20 years. “They just need to be more safer in who they giving these motherf##kers too,” DJ Paul said. “But we need assault rifles, cause it’s some s##t about to go down here. They better keep them f##king assault rifles out here cause it’s all we gonna have to use to protect ourselves from them other f##king countries.” Like DJ Paul, Killer Mike also envisioned a bad future for the United States and African Americans in particular, if stricter rules are placed upon the Second Amendment, which gives Americans the Constitutional right to bear arms. “You’re gonna progress us into slavery. Tia Kemp is well known for dissing Rozay, whether it’s siding with his enemies like 50 Cent, writing a book, or going directly to social media to call out “The Bawse.” Rick, born William Leonard Roberts II, recently filed court documents seeking to have Tia’s social media accounts suspended. (AllHipHop News) Suge Knight’s bid for freedom has been delayed again since the rapper needs a new lawyer to represent him. Suge is looking at murder and attempted murder charges for running over Terry Carter and Cle “Bone” Sloan during a fight at a burger stand in Los Angeles in January of 2015. Carter was killed from his wounds, while Cle “Bone” Sloan sustained critical injuries. Yesterday (March 23rd) during a hearing, Suge’s trial was pushed back again, after his 15th lawyer, Dominique Banos, abruptly resigned, citing a conflict of interest. A judge elected to push back the trial again, which was due to start on April 9th. Suge, who has been imprisoned for over three years, seems to be irritated over the drama engulfing his trial. In addition to suffering multiple strokes while being locked up, his ex-fiance was hit with a three-year prison sentence for leaking a video of the crime scene. And, more recently two of Suge’s attorneys were arrested and indicted for bribing witnesses, while producers for a BET series received grand jury subpoenas just for interviewing the fallen mogul. “My case is a real simple case. Either I did something or I didn’t. Either they had firearms or they didn’t,” Suge told the court.

Prosecutors want X, born Earl Simmons, to serve the maximum sentence of five years in prison in his tax evasion case. The IRS is prosecuting the rap star for purposely hiding $1.7 million dollars in wages, from the years 2011-2013. In August of 2017, DMX was placed under house arrest and shipped to rehab, after reportedly failing four drug tests and going to St Louis, Missouri without informing officials. In October of 2017, a judge finally granted DMX a leave from the rehabilitation program to perform accompanied by a 24-hour sobriety coach. By January of 2018, the rapper was ordered to be held without bail, after testing positive for opioids, cocaine, and oxycodone. “In short, the defendant has been on a one-man crime spree for the past 30 years,” prosecutors said in his latest hearing. The rapper, born Earl Simmons, will learn his fate when he is sentenced on March 28th.

(AllHipHop News) Rap mogul Russell Simmons has been hit with another disturbing sexual assault allegation by a woman who claims he threatened to rape her son if she didn’t pleasure him. The unidentified woman has filed a lawsuit against the embattled Def Jam co-founder, accusing him of raping her in a Sacramento, California hotel room. In court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, she claims Simmons invited her to his hotel room after a concert in the city she attended with her young son, who she had dropped off at home before they arrived at the music mogul’s hotel. He allegedly assured her he wasn’t interested in sex because he was dating a top model, but his attitude changed once he was alone in the room with her. “After entering the room, Simmons shut the door and said, ‘I am going to f##k you’,” the papers read. “Plaintiff said she had no intention of having sexual relations with Simmons – but he replied ‘I am going to f##k you or I’m going to f##k your son. You decide…’ Simmons threw her on the bed and raped her.” The woman was spotted leaving Simmons’ room in tears, according to witnesses. She is seeking $10 million in punitive damages for the “severe emotional distress” the alleged incident caused her. The woman is now the 16th to come forward and accuse the rap mogul, entrepreneur, and author of sexual misconduct. He has vehemently denied all the accusations against him, insisting all his encounters have been consensual. Simmons has temporarily closed his Instagram account while he works on “becoming a more useful” servant of god amid the sex abuse scandal. The 60-year-old has jetted off to Indonesia in the wake of being accused of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse for a little rest and relaxation at the Yoga Barn retreat in Ubud, Bali. It was recently revealed that the arresting officer who testified against Meek Mill in 2007 for a drug and gun case, lied to the FBI while he was under oath. According to a new Internal Affairs report, Philadelphia police officer Reginald Graham lied to investigators about his role in a 2005 robbery of a drug dealer, in which he and another dirty cop named Jeffrey Walker stole “chunks of cash” during a raid. Walker turned informant and accused Graham of participating in the theft, something he denied until he failed a polygraph test and then admitted his role in stealing the cash. Last November, Williams was sentenced to 2 to 4 years for a probation violation originating from a 2008 gun and drug case. His lawyers have been fighting to get the 30-year-old released over an array of problems. The report comes on the heels of the discovery that Reginald V. Graham was on a District Attorney Office’s list of discredited cops and allegedly gave untruthful statements at the rapper’s trial. Meek’s attorneys have also claimed that Genece Brinkley, the preceding judge, is strongly biased against Meek.

In November of 2017, 6ix9ine plead guilty to three felony counts of use of a child in a sexual performance. 6ix9ine says he had no idea the naked girl featured in the video was 13-years-old since she allegedly lied about her age. “When people comment under my s##t ‘pedophile’ and all that s##t, I’m so numb to it because I know what I am and who I am,” 6ix9ine said during an interview with The Breakfast Club. “Say, I would understand if I was his age [pointing to Charlamagne] and got this charge and it looked disturbing but the media don’t see it as, ‘this kid got caught up in some s##.t’” As part of his plea, 6ix9ine was required to obtain a GED, perform 300 hours of community service, and seek two years of mental health treatment amongst other conditions, which also comes with an obligation to write an open letter to the victim’s relatives. But 6ix9ine condemned the media for intensifying his problems, simply for reporting on his case. “This is how nasty the media is. This is how nasty they are and try to paint a picture and violate,” 6ix9ine asserted. “This is what the system does to youth. I’m an 18-year-old kid with my life in front of me. Now that I rap and I’m somebody when these charges come up, it’s like “Oh my god, he’s a monster.”  The rap star is scheduled to go in front of a judge on April 10th, where he could end up being sentenced to prison time.

The hip-hop star, who has long been a fan of the backpack and luggage firm, has collaborated with company officials for the Young Thug x Sprayground capsule collection, comprising of two limited-edition releases made with durable water-resistant fabric. The Diamond Cubes design features images of the gemstones against a black and purple background, while the Purple Tie Dye Shark has a distinctive rubber shark mouth mold across the front of the bag. The project is Young Thug’s first as a fashion designer, although he has previously modeled for the likes of Calvin Klein and Adidas. And David admits witnessing the hitmaker at work in the recording studio has inspired him to step out of his creative comfort zone and explore his own desire to make music.
