Hip-Hop Rumors: Drake Disses Lil’ Kim and Nicki Comments Too!

DISCLAIMER: All content within this section is pure rumor and generally have no factual info outside of what the streets have whispered in our ear. Read on.DAMN SHAME. DRAKE DISSES LIL KIM! I know Kim is in a “space” in her career, but it is time for somebody to take the highroad. I guess Drake’s GPS was a lil busted, because he took time out of his concert to address Kim. In concert, Drake said” “”I Don’t Give A F*ck What Lil Kim Is Talking About. You The Baddest Woman To Ever Do This Sh*t” Talking to Nickie Minaj “Ever” is a very open-ended term, but I know Drake is riding for his gal! NICKI TOO… Nicki didn’t comment directly, but she came close. IN KIM’S DEFENSE People are talking about Nicki and Rick Ross being the “new” Biggie and Kim as if Kim isn’t here any more. I think we need to let Nicki be herself (I know what critics have to say already) and let Kim do her thing. I mean, we should allow a few more females in the game. SPEAKING OF FEMALES…. My illseed rap “contest” is still doing, but right now I am totally focused on FEMALE RAPPERS! If you are an MC, send me a YOUTUBE of your song and lets go!!!!! Here is Eternia to get everybody started. Eternia & MoSS | At Last | Featuring Termanology & Reef the Lost Cauze LIL BOOSIE… I told you what was going down and here it is coming to life…click here. BREAKING NEWS: Louisiana Teenager Indicted for Rapper Murder, 5 Others

(AllHipHop News) A 17-year-old Baton Rouge, LA teenager named Michael Louding has been charged with murdering regional rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson and five other men in a string of killings dating back to February 2009. The murder indictment was announced yesterday (June 4) by Louisiana’s East Baton Rouge Parish, and the teen faces five counts of 1st degree murder, one count of 2nd degree murder, and two counts of attempted 1st degree murder. Last year, Dope Family Family rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson died following a gunshot wound to the head on February 9. He was 33 years old. Trill Entertainment rapper Lil Boosie was named as a primary suspect, with FBI agent Anthony Jung stating his bureau received information that Boosie initiated the slaying by placing a $30,000 hit on Jackson. Before his death, the two had been feuding on wax with Boosie recording the diss song “What Goes Up Must Come Down.” Boosie was never charged, and is currently in the second year of a four year sentence for drug possession. In March, Trill Entertainment CEO’s Melvin Vernell Jr. and Marcus Roach were cleared of the 2005 attempted murder of another local rapper, Bruce “Beelow” Moore. Moore was shot twice in the face outside of his store-front business, in a crime prosecutors claimed was over Moore’s bootlegging of Louisiana artists. The case was dismissed due to the prosecution taking more than two years to try the men. In addition to the February 2009 Nussie murder, Michael Louding faces charges for killing Marcus Thomas (April 2009), Terry Boyd (October 2009), Michael Smith (December 2009), Charles Matthews, and Darryl Milton. The latter two are the most recent crimes, with both being murdered on April 1, 2010 while sitting in a parked car. Three other teenagers from Baton Rouge ranging in age from 16 to 19 will also face 1st degree murder counts in the Milton and Matthews slayings. On Monday (June 7), both state and federal officials are expected to be present at a news conference revealing more details about the case. At press time, it is unknown whether Michael Louding and his accomplices acted alone, or were part of a larger criminal conspiracy.

Hip-Hop Rumors: The “Hit Man” Rapper Is Revealed!

DISCLAIMER: All content within this section is pure rumor and generally have no factual info outside of what the streets have whispered in our ear. Read on. GET HIM TO THE GREEK! Check out the trailer of the movie featuring Diddy and some others TONIGHT!!!!!! YEAH – REMEMBER THAT ARTIST – THE ALLEGED HIT MAN? So, here is the deal. The blind item becomes unblind. From what I have been told, the local Baton Rouge, Louisiana law enforcement WANTS LIL BOOSIE. They want him bad. Right now Boosie is currently serving a four-year prison sentence for drug and gun possession, but my sources say that was just to tuck him away for a spell. They really want to get him because they think he put a hit on somebody. They think Lil Boosie put a 15 year old kid up to the job and the kid did the job well. Now, somebody is dead or shot (I’m not sure, but I am assuming the person is dead). The boy has been caught and the coppers have been drilling him crazy (pause) for information on Boosie. The cops don’t care about this kid and they see Boosie as the big fish. They are building this huge case against him while he is in jail. Anyway, the 15-year-old boy not only has the cops on his neck, but his MOM is rumored to be applying major pressure on him to talk. I don’t think he’s talked yet, but if he does, Boosie will have a bigger problems than his present 4-year bid. DRAKE STICKS TO THE 15TH I guess Drake and company are not too scared of this super leak. There was a rash of bad information that hit the internet earlier that was highly “misinformative” stating that Drake was coming out a week early. No. He’s not. Now, I am hearing that insiders within the label are expecting Drizzy to do Lil Wayne numbers on this. Not sure though, with a 2 week leak, that sounds crazy. Wayne and Jay had leaks too so we’ll see if the marketing plan plays out. LIL KIM’S NICKI MINAJ DISS… Man, this is boring! BIG PAGE RIDES BACK ON DRAKE’S ARTIST That dude that dissed Page on behalf of Drake (P. Reign) gets the wrath from Page. THAT EMINEM / PINK SONG! HA! You know Eminem. That dude wont let a person out of the studio when a song, Jack! Even if you are on it or produced it! HA! So, can you imagine getting a song from a person authorized to give it? Yeah, that means  you rock with it! That’s exactly what happened yesterday with the song from Eminem and Pink. It wasn’t my style so I really didn’t listen, but the “internets” did, even if they didn’t like it. So, after getting this authorized song “leak” a few hours later, the RIAA comes “knocking” with a cease and desist letter. LOL…Anyway…the games, the game…the game. ZAB JUDAH IN NEWARK, NJ This is going to be Televised on ESPN and I think Zab’s going to be giving me free tix. SIKE. LOL!   ILLSEED’S QUICKIES Dame Dash’s ex is seeking $1 million in damages from the mogul. She is not a nice woman. Plies wants to do a song with Susan Boyle. (AllHipHop News) Roc-A-Fella Records boss Damon Dash has been hit with a $1 million lawsuit by his ex-wife, who claims the rap mogul provided phony emails during a court battle involving their son. According to documents filed in court, Linda Williams claims that Damon Dash is harassing his own son, Damon II. Williams claims Damon Dash held the 17-year-old against his will after he was caught DJ’ing in a New York city nightclub. Afterwards, it is alleged that Dash held the teen against his will in his apartment. The New York Daily News also reports that Damon Dash allegedly lied to the NYPD when Williams attempted to obtain a restraining order against him. Nas and Damian Marley: Revolution Rhymers

Over the Memorial Day weekend, while performing in front of tens of thousands at the sold-out UCLA JazzReggae Fest, Nas told the audience that his collaboration album with Damian Marley, Distant Relatives, was “a passion project” that the labels didn’t know what to do with. The label limbo set the album from a June 30, 2009, release date to one almost a year later, and it’s not like the album has been exceeding expectations at retail. The project has had moderate sales so far, approaching 100,000 unit in the second week in stores. The live show is a different story. Wherever the Distant Relatives go, the duo sell out the venue. Further, as Nas points out in the interview with AllHipHop, the album’s delay actually helped it to coincide with an event that is making Africa the hub of economic activity this month: one of the world’s biggest sporting events, the World Cup, is taking place in South Africa. In interviews, Nas has said that recording the album was a cathartic process that helped him deal with a turmoil in personal life. In Damian Marley, God’s Son finds a partner with whom he can relate and touch on topics from politics to friends to religion. With critics and fans embracing the album, Nas and Damian sat down with AllHipHop in L.A. to speak out on label politics, their tour and even have a lighthearted moment about their foreign language skills.   AllHipHop.com: It’s been almost a year since the album was supposed to drop. Can you speak about the label politics involved with the release? Nas: Label politics are what they always been. It wasn’t anything that we thought about. We were just thinking about doing the record. It was those companies to figure out. Label politics are going to be label politics no matter what you do. It was cool though. Everybody just said, this is what you want to do, go ahead and do it. It wasn’t a bunch of label people running around, telling us, we can’t wait to do this and press these buttons. Nah, it wasn’t none of that … it would have been nice. We just do what we do.AllHipHop.com: I know a lot of that album was recorded here in LA. Was it with your band Damian, or with Nas’ band, Mulatto? Damian Marley: One of them, one of the musicians from Nas’ group, was there, guitarist Luke, but for the most part, it was my musicians. AllHipHop.com: How was working with a live band different than working with beats, Nas? Nas: I mean, when you going to work with Damian you expect it to be different than what you do. So you can tell that by his music. AllHipHop.com: Want to talk about the tour plans. How are the plans to hit Africa shaping up? Nas: I mean you know the record is what we want everybody to embrace, especially Africa. We just happy to hear the news. We just sit back and enjoy what’s happening. There’s different news every day about where we going. AllHipHop.com: Growing up in New York, how did Jamaican culture influence you and the rebel inside you? Nas: To finish up, I was just thinking about what you asked with the last question, it’s incredible with the timing that took place with this record. This record being about Africa being released the same year as the World Cup all throughout Africa. We at the right place at the right time with the right sound to take it to Africa. Back to your question … AllHipHop.com: Actually, I want to piggyback off that real quick. Africa as a continent and the World Cup will be a hub of economic activity this year, did it go your through your mind to make an album and be spokesmen for a movement that’s going on? Nas: I think we were making the music and that’s all we concentrated on. Again, the timing just worked out. That just goes to show this was a project that we were supposed to be working on at this time, not at another time. Everything’s that happening over there, economically, all the business opportunities and everything like that, I’d love to be a part of that. But, I’m sure it’s not as easy as it sounds, but you know time will tell. That would great opportunities to put some people like ourselves, who care so much about the continent, to go over there and do some business. That’s when you’re talking like ‘whew,’ real revolution, real turnaround. AllHipHop.com: Can you speak about some of your experiences out there? I know you Nas have been to Cameroon, Kenya, South Africa, and Damian, I know having been to Africa, you’re embraced and accepted there even bigger than Hip-Hop. Can you speak about your experiences there, something memorable? Damian: In 2005, we played in Ethiopia, a celebration of my father’s birthday they had a big concert there. That’s actually the single biggest concert I’ve ever performed at. It was a special experience for me as a Rasta. In 2006, I went to Ghana, it was the same kind of event. Ghana actually reminded me of Jamaica when I was a boy. It was a great experiences, they showed love. AllHipHop.com: You guys going to the World Cup? Nas: (Tentatively) Yeah, I’ll be there. AllHipHop.com: Nas, what’s your top five, dead or alive? Nas: I don’t have a top five, I have too many people that I love to fill the top five. It’s just, you know, there’s so many different generations in Hip-Hop that did so much. One is from this era, the other one is from that era, this one is from this era. I like all of them. AllHipHop.com: I was at that National Geographic panel with you in December. Can you speak about what was going through your minds? Do you plan to have more events like that in the future? Nas: Yeah, definitely. I think […]

Here are highlights from the issue, but for more, go to vibe.com by clicking here. More details on the issue are below as Badu talks about going naked, Jay Electronica, and her evolution through relationships and children. With an artist like Erykah Badu there is no containing the creativity. The June/July cover of the singer posing “naked”is not only going to be controversial but iconic. In the feature titled “Arts & Craft”, written by VIBE’s Chloé A. Hilliard and shot by photographer Erin Patrice O’Brien, Badu talks going naked and the importance of having a good partner. “I look at some other videos. I’m not naming names, because I don’t want that to be mentioned. There is the thing with sexuality. I’m naked for 13 seconds, and these people are naked the whole time and gyrating and saying come “lick on my lollipop,” and “suck on my cinnamon roll,” and, you know, suggesting sex. People are uncomfortable with sexuality that’s not for male consumption. could be ‘cause I did it in public too. Do you think people would have been complaining if I had on high-heel shoes?” “I am a big fan and a supporter of [Jay Electronica’s] evolution and growth as an artist. I write all his rhymes. I’m joking. [laughs.] I’m always amazed and impressed with the things he comes up with. He definitely does what a partner is supposed to do, that is, evolve you.” “I was 27 when I had seven. I was already a vegetarian. I had been for 10 years. I had started making choices that would shape me for the rest of my life. I never thought to measure by each child. My children are six years apart. It wasn’t planned, just how the relationships rolled out. I’ve had three unorthodox marriages of sorts. I’ve had the benefit of having substantial amount of time with people, mind-building time.” [Source]
