Krayzie Bone Debunks Death Rumors With First Instagram Post Since Hospitalization

Krayzie Bone is alive and well—or at the very least, he’s getting better. After more than a week of silence since the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper was hospitalized in critical condition, the 50-year-old Hip-Hop legend shared a post on Instagram assuring his fans he’s still with us. Although Krayzie Bone is still hooked up to tubes and full of IVs, the mere fact he’s even using social media is a relief. After all, it was touch and go there for awhile, and death rumors quickly started to spread online. “Just fought for life literally for 9 days straight,” he wrote in the caption. “And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with every step of the way fighting for me. Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last on of them.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Krayzie Bone ™ (@krayzie_bone) Krayzie Bone checked himself into a Los Angeles area hospital on Thursday (September 21) after he started coughing up large amounts of blood. Krayzie suffers from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts, causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called “granulomas” in one or more organs of the body. After Krayzie Bone underwent a cat scan, doctors discovered an artery was leaking inside one of his lungs. He underwent immediate surgery, but the bleeding didn’t stop. He was then put into a medically-induced coma as doctors worked to fix the leak. Evidently, the surgeries were a success and he’s awake. Sources say he can’t quite talk yet due to the tube that was inserted down his throat, but the photo is a promising sign he’s on his way to recovery. AllHipHop sends our support to Krayzie Bone, his fellow Bone Thug-n-Harmony members and all of his loved ones.

JAY-Z’s Ocean Casino Fundraiser Nets $24 Million For Criminal Justice Reform

Jay-Z, Michael Rubin, Meek Mill and the REFORM Alliance held a James Bond-themed party at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City on September 30 with comedian Kevin Hart acting as its consummate host. The invite-only, black-tie event drew more than 250 VIPs who were interested in supporting the work of REFORM Alliance. The organization aims to transform the nation’s supervision system for nearly four million people on probation or parole into one that creates pathways to work and wellbeing, rather than a revolving door back to prison. In total, the event raised more than $24 million to support criminal justice reform. As part of the festivities, guests participated in a blackjack tournament, dinner program and live auction. Attendees included Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Quavo, Jack Harlow, Fabolous, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Fat Joe, French Montana, Ne-Yo and Lil Kim, among many others. The evening’s final blackjack hand was played onstage and culminated with a $1 million amount being awarded to Andrew Goldberg, managing partner of TAO GROUP, who then announced a $750,000 donation from his winnings back to support REFORM Alliance’s work. The dinner program also included an onstage discussion between Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast host Wallo and Hart. Guests were then able to bid on unique items donated by Tom Brady, George Condo, Rashid Johnson and Jay-Z. Items included an original George Condo painting which sparked a bidding war between Kim Kardashian and Brady, to a historic timepiece owned by Jay-Z. The auction items alone raised $7.8 million. Following the live auction, guests headed into the after-party at Ocean’s Sportsbook, The Gallery, which featured a full D’USSE bar takeover with specialty cocktails and surprise performances by Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Fat Joe, Lil Durk, Quavo, French Montana, Fabolous and Romeo Santos.
