“I’m definitely excited to be a part of this,” says Murray. “It’s going to be an amazing event and I am happy to give back to the community in such a way that benefits the kids.”

The giveaway is part of a celebration being held today (April 1) for the opening of the Global Community Center in New York City. Murray will also participate in a free concert. The event will take place at 46th and Broadway in Times Square starting at 4:00 pm.

“I plan on giving fans a taste of what’s to come,” Murray adds. “I know that people will be pleased because I’m bringing things they have never heard before. It’s going to be great.”

Hip Hop Saves Lives is a non-profit organization with a mission to re-instate the original purpose of Hip Hop. HHSL achieves this by teaching humanity through Hip Hop as a youth program entitled “Kids Helping Kids; A Hip Hop Experience.” The organization works with NYC schools, a teen homeless shelter, incarcerated youth, teens on probation, and two schools in Haiti.
