After midnight on October 12th 2014, AllHipHop held it’s Breeding Ground Showcase at A3C. On the last night of the music festival, AllHipHop’s brought the weekend home with stellar performances from artists such as Translee, Issa, B Stacks and M.O.S. with the night hosted by the HEAVEE voice of Fort Knox!
After the opening class of artist performed,West Coast artist Young Rome tore down the stage. shortly after, DJ Holiday brought out Runway Richy to perform his hit “Keep Getting It.” Brooklyn MC and Breeding Ground Alumni, Sonnie Carson, hit the stage but before he performed, he announced that he and his label, Scream Entertainment, were now signed to Sony. After a celebration from the crowd, Sonnie showed the venue why he was the newest signee on Sony with a flurry of street music.
The headliners of the night hit the stage. The crowd was ready to see So So Def’s Royce Rizzy perform the songs that have ATL sizzling now with his smash hit “Got Dam.” But Rizzy didn;t just give us the original version, he blessed us with the remix and surprise guest Lil Scrappy (accompanied by his GF Bambi). After Rizzy, the OG, Rocko the Don, came in and showed why he is one of the big names in ATL with a montage of his classic songs and current hits.
