Kendrick Lamar’s “untitled 07 | 2014-2016” By The Numbers

When Kendrick dropped untitled unmastered many weren’t sure exactly what to expect. Some of the songs sound highly mixed and mastered, other portions sound raw. At the end of the day, if you are really listening there are some gems on there and it seems like Mr. Lamar was just playing around on the project.  He’s running laps around everyone as we try to figure out the magic behind the madness.

Of the most classic segments on the album is when Kendrick chants “levitate, levitate, levitate” the other being when Kendrick proclaims that “head is the future.” It’s raw unadulterated, sexually explicit lyrics.
