De La Soul has blessed Hip-Hop lovers with a new song “Royalty Capes” from their first studio album in 11 years.
The song is from their highly anticipated album the Anonymous Nobody.
“Royalty Capes” was produced by Dave aka Plug Too and mixed by the legendary Bob Powers.
It is one of the first songs De La recorded for the Anonymous Nobody, at The Bomb Shelter and Vox Studios.
“It was one of those rare moments where he [Dave] wrote his part first,” Pos told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “He said it just sounded like royalty walking in and he put his rhymes down and I followed his lead.”
