Jay Rock’s Cousin King Harris Is Making A Name On His Own With New Album

KING HARRIS TEAMS WITH OHNO

Long Beach rapper King Harris may be Jay Rock’s cousin, but he’s looking to make a name for himself outside of his family ties to the TDE rap star.

The Oxnard, Cali rapper teamed with Gangrene’s Oh No to create his debut album Nightmare On Wolff Street.

According to King Harris, his album is inspired by Snoop Dogg, The Game, who is featured on the new album, and the year 1988.

“Oxnard has always been a breeding ground for that sound that’s popular,” said King, noting this year’s successes from locals Madlib (The Life of Pablo) and Anderson .Paak (Malibu).

“When somebody from Oxnard gets on, that’s the little door, and then it turns into a big hole,” King Harris added.”

Check out the first single from Nightmare On Wolff Street, titled “Dope House” featuring Stevie Stone.
