AllHipHop.com premieres the new mixtape Marvelous Magic Johnson from NYC bred emcee Marvelous Mag. The Winners crew member’s 14-track ode to the Los Angeles Lakers great features appearances by Hus Kingpin, Planet Asia, SmooVth, Rozewood, and Black.
Like the mixtape’s namesake, Mag displays his ability to see the entire court as he navigates through the game. The Brownsville native uses tracks like “We Got Next” to showcase his lyrical gifts; while cuts like the Flying Lotus produced “Geronimo” provides tongue-in-cheek commentary and the J Dilla produced “Far Away” takes listeners into a cannabis-influenced setting.
