(AllHipHop News) Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj is featured on the cover of April issue of Allure magazine. During her interview Nicki discussed her future plans in the music industry. The chart topping female rapper said she viewed her rap career as one aspect of her burgeoning business empire. “I always looked at it like a business, something that I could create an empire out of,” Nicki told Allure. “I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. He said ‘Congratulations on all your success.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m coming for you. I’m coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul.’” in addition to the April 3 release of her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Nicki Minaj is working on two books.

A gay rapper that is fronting Pittsburgh rap/rock group another One For the Fire is preparing to release a mixtape titled “Straight From The Gutters of Sheol,” featuring disses aimed at Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. One For the Fire’s front man, Cocky Alcabez, is an admitted homosexual. He takes aim at Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa on the track “Here’s Sum C### 4 Ya,” in which he also proclaims himself as the new king of Pittsburgh. The mixtape “Straight From The Gutters of Sheol” is slated to be released on DatPiff.com this weekend.

Croatian producer Koolade is hosting a worldwide contest offering lyricists the chance record versus over his album Koolade Beats Rocky. The project, which has received over 15,000 downloads, was originally inspired by Bill Conti. Emcees will have the opportunity to work with Koolade, who has crafted tracks for artists like Masta Ace, Bow Wow, Flo Rida and Omarion. “The reason we went with the instrumental version was the huge feedback reaction to the album. So many MCs were asking me if they could rock demos to those beats. So we figured we do an official best acapella competition. It’s going to keep the buzz going, and I just love the whole Koolade Beats Rocky thing going interactive! It’s good for the community and scene in general.” The best track will be featured on popular Hip-Hop radio show Blackout Radio and the winning MC will receive a free beat from Koolade.
