Wu-Tang Clan front man Raekwon has canceled a highly anticipated concert tonight (December 9) in Chicago. The Chef was slated to perform at the House of Blues in Chicago tonight, but the rapper abruptly canceled the show, with no explanation given. The rapper is currently on tour promoting his album Only Built For Cuban Linx 2. Fans in Chicago can receive a refund at their point of purchase. Raekwon is scheduled to perform tomorrow (December 10) at Peabody’s in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

Snoop Dogg will be the headlining performer during Spike TV’s 7th Annual Video Game Awards 2009. A number of personalities will be on hand to dole out awards for outstanding achievements within the video game industry. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal will hand out the prestigious Game of the Year honor, while celebrities like Tony Hawk, Mike Tyson, Green Day, Forrest Griffin and Kristen Bell will make appearances. The 7th Annual Video Game Awards 2009 air Saturday (December 12) at 8:00 PM on Spike TV.

 

Kidz In The Hall will thank their fans for years of support with the release of a free album titled The Professional Leisure Tour. The 13-track EP features brand new music the group recorded last month while they were on their U.S. tour. The “FreEP,” which is sponsored by L-R-G, is the prelude to Kidz In The Hall’s upcoming studio album, Land of Make Believe. Yesterday (December 8), Kidz dropped the single “Jukebox,” the lead single from Land Of Make Believe, which is due in stores March 9th, 2010.
