Beyonce, Sam Smith, And Pharrell Williams Lead Grammy Nominations With Six Each

BEYONCE, SAM SMITH, AND PHARRELL TAKE THE LEAD WITH THE MOST GRAMMY NOMINATIONS THIS YEAR.

Nominations for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards were announced yesterday by The Recording Academy with Beyonce, Sam Smith, and Pharrell Williams in the lead with six Grammy nominations each. Beck, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Pharrell vie for album of the year. Iggy Azalea, Beck, Eric Church, engineer Tom Coyne, Drake, Gordon Goodwin, Jay Z, Miranda Lambert, Sia, Usher, and Jack White earned four nominations each. Additionally, Azalea, Bastille, Brandy Clark, Haim, and Sam Smith vie for the Best New Artist award. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards plans to reflect an eclectic mix of the best and brightest in music over the past year. “This year’s nominees are a reflection of the music community’s diversity and range of talent, and a testament to The Academy’s voting process,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy.
