CELEBRITY CORRESPONDENTS EXAMINE THE INEQUALITIES FACING OUR NATION

(AllHipHop News) As the United States countdowns to Election Day 2016, the premium cable network EPIX is set to premiere the new docu-series America Divided.

Rapper/actor Common serves as an executive producer for the program. The Chicago raised star is joined by Norman Lear (The Jeffersons, Good Times), Shonda Rhimes (Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder), and others.

America Divided centers around inequality in education, housing, healthcare, labor, criminal justice, and the political system.

The eight-story, five-part series will follow several high-profile correspondents as they examine specific inequalities related to their own biographies.
