(AllHipHop News) Florida rapper Denzel Curry wants the world to know that nobody is better than him when it comes to making music. The 2016 XXL Freshman spoke with Montreality, and he walked back a 2017 tweet where he stated Kendrick Lamar is the only person above him on the talent totem pole.
“Kendrick is not better than me. When I said that sh-t… I’m a f-cking idiot for saying that sh-t, because he’s not. Nobody’s better than me. I don’t give a f-ck who you are,” expressed Curry. “Not to sound arrogant, it’s because I know who I am. I know what world I stay in. And comparing my art? You can’t.”
Since 2013, the 22-year-old rhymer has released the projects Nostalgic 64, 32 Zel/Planet Shrooms, Imperial, and 13. He has also collaborated with other artists such as SpaceGhostPurrp, Rob $tone, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, and XXXtentacion.
