(AllHipHop News) Rapper DMX has entered into a plea agreement with the government, in order to avoid spending a few decades in prison. DMX was originally charged with 14 counts of tax evasion, for failing to report over $1.7 million dollars in earnings, from the years 2011-2013. Investigators claim DMX the rapper was involved in a scheme to deliberately avoid paying his taxes during those years. According to TMZ.com , prosecutors have agreed to drop 13 of the charges against the rapper, leaving X to face one count of tax evasion. The rapper, born Earl Simmons, could face up to five years in prison, when he is sentenced on March 29th.
