(AllHipHop News) Christmas season is upon us, and that comes with holiday-themed tunes. Grammy-winning vocalist/instrumentalist H.E.R. teamed with Amazon Music to release a reimagined version of “Christmas Time Is Here.”
“I love everything about the holidays especially the music,” said H.E.R. “I’m so happy to be a part of this Amazon Originals holiday playlist and get to spread holiday cheer through my music.”
Amazon Music also linked with rising R&B group Next Town Down for their rendition of the classic “O Holy Night.” Chris, Leon, Malik, Tre’Von, and Terence of NTD built a following by uploading covers and vlogs on YouTube.
“We are thrilled to work with the Amazon Music team to release our new R&B spin on a Christmas classic,” said Next Town Down. “To us, ‘O Holy Night’ is about family, so we hope our fans and their families enjoy our record this holiday season.”
H.E.R.’s “Christmas Time Is Here” and Next Town Down’s “O Holy Night” can both be heard on the Best of Amazon Holiday Originals playlist. John Legend, Ellie Goulding, Ingrid Michaelson & Jason Mraz, Sebastian Yatra, The Band Perry, Nina Nesbitt, and Chloe Flower also contributed to Amazon Original holiday releases.
