J. Cole Reveals What’s On The Deluxe Edition Of His ‘KOD’ Album

(AllHipHop News) J. Cole’s KOD is already on pace to be a major commercial success. The Hip Hop virtuoso is set to move more than 380,000 units in the album’s first week of release. That sales triumph may get a lift with a deluxe edition of the LP. Cole did a rare Q&A with his Twitter followers, and he addressed the history and future of his 5th full length. “First version of album was done in 2 weeks. Final version of KOD that got released took 6 months total,” replied the Dreamville Records head. He later posted, “KOD deluxe will be album in its original 2 week form. Plus couple extra scenes that didn’t make final cut.” Kids On Drugs/King Overdosed/Kill Our Demons ends with the much-talked-about track “1985 (Intro to The Fall Off).” There was speculation that the song was the foreword to yet another project. J. Cole gave some credence to The Fall Off arriving soon by tweeting, “Workin on it.”
