EXCLUSIVE: Kanye West Reps Confirm October Release Date For “Jesus Is King”

Kanye West popped up in Washington DC for Howard University’s homecoming, where he mentioned a release date for his new album and his reps have confirmed the news.

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West’s mobile Sunday Service endeavors are the talk of the century.

Just last weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah, it just so happened Ye’s service fell on the same weekend of the Mormons big conference.

Footage was released online of swarms of people flocking to hear Ye preach.

This time around, he found himself tearing down the house at Howard University.

Of course, wifey Kim Kardashian and his two kids North and Saint were in attendance at the legendary HBCU for the 8 am show.

Taking place in the campus’ quad in Washington D.C., Kanye popped up in a tan jacket and blessed the crowd with new verses while throwing his hands in the air to praise Jesus.

R&B singer Tony Williams (also Ye’s cousin) did his part in conducting the huge group of artists from choir singers to drummers and a brass band.

During the event, Kanye West reportedly revealed his new album Jesus is King will land in stores on October 25th.

A source connected to Kanye West directly involved with the project confirmed the release date with AllHipHop.

The rapper is adamant on sticking to the October 25th date, after promising fans Jesus is King would be delivered on September 27th.

What a way to celebrate Howard University’s Homecoming.
