Lil Flip’s Major Label Debut Strikes Gold

Lil Flip’s major label debut, Undaground Legend has been certified gold by the RIAA as of October 10. The album hit stores August 27 and debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and #4 on the Hip-Hop/R&B chart. According to Soundscan, Undaground Legend moved almost 70,000 copies in the first week. The double album was priced at $5.99 to increase sales during the first few weeks out to prevent bootleggers from cutting into sales.
