Rise Up: Ockz Taps Skyzoo, & Quadir Lateef To Aid Flint’s Water Crisis

OCKZ IS HELPING THE FLINT WATER CRISIS.

(AllHipHop News) Last year, Brooklyn MC, Ockz,  released of The Stuyvesant Chronicles.  He will use his lyrical prowess to help his fellow man. Ockz’s  iTunes single, “Rise Up,” features both Skyzoo and Quadir Lateef. The trio will donate 20% from the single’s proceeds to the community-based organization, #HIPHOP4FLINT.

Next month, on March 19, #HIPHOP4FLINT will partner with the non-profit, Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church. Along with 45 other cities from around the globe the Hip-Hop community will harness its power to help Fint’s parched citizens. Hip-Hop’s educators, supporters, activists, journalists, and artists will come together.

The money raised will be utilized to purchase water filtration systems for the home’s of Flint’s residents.
