LL Cool J Says Celebrities Are Afraid To “Lip Sync Battle” [PICS]

LL DISCUSSES LIP SYNC BATTLE PLANS!

(AllHipHopNews) Spike recently hosted a screening for the LL Cool J hosted show “Lip Sync Battle” that featured a discussion with the legendary Queens MC, along with Color Commentator Chrissy Teigen.

According to LL Cool J., getting the show off the ground was difficult, because many of the celebrities who have been featured on the show were apprehensive about playing themselves in front of a national audience.

As a result, even the Hip-Hop legend had trouble booking acts to perform on “Lip Sync Battle.”

“We’re excited about everybody but it’s not easy…these people are busy and don’t want to risk looking silly. I’ve left a lot of creepy text messages on some celebrity phones out there that if they ever hit twitter or instagram, I’ll be looking real crazy,” LL Cool J said.

The show, which is preparing for its third season, pits two celebrities against each other in a lip syncing battle, has featured rappers such as Snoop Dogg and Common.

According to sources, LL Cool J is in the process of creating a spinoff version of “Lip Sync Battle” for kids.
