Malice of the Clipse Continues Religious Transformation with Name Change

MALICE CHANGES HIS NAME

(AllHipHop News) Virginia rapper Malice, one half of the rap duo the Clipse has announced a name change.

In accordance with his newly found sense of devotion to Christianity, the artist formerly known as Malice, and born as Gene Thornton, will now answer to the stage name of “No Malice.”

Ever since the release of the last Clipse project, Til’ The Casket Drops in 2009, “No Malice” has been transforming his ways that formerly valued sex, drugs, money, women and power.

The changes taking place in Malice’s life were perhaps most evident in his recent book entitled, Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked, a memoir that was released last year.

“R.I.P. “Malice” 8/20/2002 – 3/6/2012,” No Malice tweeted from his Twitter handle @NoMalice757.

“No Malice” plans to release his debut solo effort, Hear Ye Him!, this summer.
