(AllHipHop News) Manny Pacquiao made a big boo boo when he compared gay people to dogs.
Until the comments, Pac Man was sponsored by Nike despite losing to the likes of Floyd Mayweather, but after 8 years, his contract was terminated.
“We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent,” said a Nike statement. “Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community. We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao.”
Pacquiao maintained that homosexuals having sex was “worse than animals.”
He would later apologize on Facebook, but not before he lost his deal with the sneaker and sports brand. Apparently, he also lost over 2 million followers on Twitter.
