“I feel the need to take responsibility for my choices in needing to be more aware of all the people I associate with and allow onto my property,” said Nelly. “While my instinct of course, is to be accessible to my friends, fans and acquaintances, the last thing I would want to do is compromise the respect and admiration of my friends, family and fans.”

According to reports, up to 20 other people had access to Nelly’s tour bus. That number apparently included individuals Nelly was not familiar with.

Some of the people that Nelly does include in his inner circle are returning to BET next month. Season two of the reality series Nellyville begins May 5. The show documents Nelly and his family.
