Nelly and his sister, Jackie Donahue will launch Jes Us For Jackie On May 14. Donahue is in need of a bone marrow transplant and the duo hope to increase the number marrow donors in the National Marrow Donor Program Registry across the United States. Nelly’s non-profit, 4 Sho 4 Kids will sponsor a campaign starting June 21 to emphasize the need for more African-American donors. 4 Sho 4 Kids will sponsor the cost of testing and will also hand out educational materials. The campaign will take place in Nelly’s hometown of St. Louis as well as Los Angeles and New York.
