Producer Ronny J Claims Kanye West & Dr. Dre Are Working On “Something Special”

The beatmaker behind tracks for Denzel Curry, XXXTentacion, 6ix9ine, Lil Pump, Smokepurpp, and more artists says he was just back in Wyoming with Ye.

(AllHipHop News) Ronald Oneil Spence Jr. (aka Ronny J) co-produced “Everything We Need” on Kanye West’s Jesus Is King album. According to the New Jersey native, Ye and another Hip Hop legend are actively collaborating on an additional version of the project.

On November 18, Kanye and Dr. Dre uploaded the same picture from the studio to their respective Twitter accounts. Both captions for the photo read, “Ye and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon.”

People began to wonder if the two creators were just trolling their followers. TMZ caught up with Ronny J, and he seemed to confirm that a sequel to West’s Gospel-inspired rap LP is really in the works.

“Honestly, shout out Ye cause we definitely got some sh*t on the way – me, Dr. Dre, and Kanye,” said Ronny. “It’s something special. It’s something a little extra for the fans.” He added, “I was just in Wyoming working on it last week… Dre wasn’t there this time around… Dre’s working on some additional work from Jesus Is King.”
