(AllHipHop News) Recently, the news about rapper Kodak Black’s burgeoning rap career has taken a back seat to his multiple arrests over the past year.
Now, new reports suggest that Kodak Black been detained once again today (May 18) for various open warrants on new charges that include armed robbery.
A recent run-in with the law in April resulted in charges of fleeing from police, after Kodak Black was caught in a drug transaction in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
When officers tried to stop the Audi Kodak Black was in with an 18-year-old passenger, the pair sped off and led police on a high-speed chase. The chase was eventually called off, but later, officers spotted Kodak Black and an associate in a nearby neighborhood and apprehended them.
Kodak Black, who recently signed to Atlantic Records, was also hit with weapons charges after police allegedly saw the rapper throw a firearm into a dumpster.
According to a post on his Instagram page, Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave, seemed rather cavalier about the court date earlier today.
