Richard Sherman Debating Upcoming Super Bowl

RICHARD SHERMAN HOPES UPCOMING SON WILL BE A “DISCIPLINED YOUNG MAN” & NOT COME ON SUNDAY

As the nation prepares to watch the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks battle in Super Bowl XLIX, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is preparing for something else, as he waits for his son to be born. Sherman has a big decision to make because his girlfriend is expected to go into labor any day now, which may very well fall on Super Bowl Sunday.

It’s a debate among many inside the league and out, as some feel the game must go on at any cost, while others think it unfair to deny players once in a lifetime moments with loved ones.

For Coach Pete Carroll it’s a personal choice, “Whenever our players have a personal or family issue that comes up, it’s always about family first and they have to decide what’s best for them, and I support that. We will support that decision.”  He also joked,  “I can’t wait to meet Little Petey.”
