(AllHipHop News) Rap heavyweight Rick Ross treated his family to a shopping spree in Miami, Florida, a week after he was hospitalized for a health scare.
The rapper appeared to be firmly back on his feet as he stepped out to the Bal Harbour Shops with his little girl, Berkley, the child’s mother, Briana Camille, and his teenage daughter Toie.
Ross was photographed cradling baby Berkley as he joined his girls at the mall, where he even interacted with a person dressed up as Elmo from Sesame Street, who tried to entertain the tot.
The two-hour outing took place four days after he was discharged from a Miami-area medical center.
He had been admitted on March 1, after an assistant found him unresponsive, drooling, and breathing heavily at his Florida home, and called emergency services.
Reports suggest Ross, who has a history of seizures, suffered a heart-related incident and was hooked up to a machine that assists respiratory functions, but by Monday (March 5), he was well enough to go home.
He returned to social media on to assure fans he was doing OK by posting a black-and-white photo of himself and captioning it, “Ain’t nothing like home (prayer emoji). I love y’all.”
Ross’ ill health reportedly prompted his family to postpone a lavish Sweet 16 birthday party he had planned for Toie at Miami’s The Villa, Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion where late designer Gianni was murdered in 1997.
