Rihanna's Animated Movie 'Home' Brings In $54 Million At Box Office

RIRI BROUGHT IN BIG MONEY AT THE BOX OFFICE OVER THE WEEKEND

The box office better have Rihanna’s money.

According to reports, Rih’s animated DreamWorks flick Home pulled in $54 million at the box office over the weekend. Home, which hit theaters last Friday (Mar. 27), opened with $15.6 million in sales and it was predicted to only gross between $30 to $35 million.

The children’s film follows a young girl and her new martian friend after planet Earth falls victim to an alien invasion. Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin and Jim Parsons also lend their voices to the film.

Home beat out Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell’s comedy Get Hard for the number one spot, bringing in $35.5 million over the weekend.
