Roc-A-Fella CEO “Biggs” Arrested On Drug Charges

Kareem "Biggs" Burke, who shares CEO duties of Roc-A-Fella Records with Dame Dash and Jay-Z, was arraigned Tuesday morning after 24 marijuana plants were found growing in his Cliffside Park, New Jersey penthouse. According to Cliffside Park Police Chief Donald Keane, two police and two employees of the Carlyle Towers entered Burke’s empty apartment Monday to check out a possible water leak. In the second floor room of the penthouse, they allegedly found the plans which were bearing nearly 2 ounces of weed, 4 grams of hashish, hydroponic lights and humidifiers. Burke’s attorney, Ian Hirsch refused to comment, beyond saying "He’ll be vindicated." Biggs was charged with manufacturing drugs and released after a bondsman posted $150,000 bail. A court date will be set at a later date.
