The 49-year-old suffered from a blood clot in his lung when he was in jail in November 2014, which led to him falling twice while in custody. Knight began suffering from blood clots after being shot six times at 1OAK nightclub in Las Vegas last August.

Knight is currently receiving care at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, CA and is on blood thinners. He has been handcuffed to his bed and is under 24/7 watch.
