Suge Knight To Be Arraigned On 4 Felony Counts Including Murder

SUGE IS HEADED TO COURT, $2 MILLION BAIL REVOKED

(AllHipHop News) Suge Knight will face a judge today (February 3) after being arrested for allegedly running down two people with his vehicle which left one man dead and another injured. The former music mogul is expected to be arraigned on four felony counts including murder and hit-and-run.

Prosecutors officially filed charges against Knight on Monday, and a court commissioner revoked his $2 million bail on the grounds authorities fear the 49-year-old is a flight risk and has the potential to intimidate witnesses. Knight was already on bail for a previous robbery arrest.

This is the latest legal trouble for the founder of Death Row Records. In 1996, Knight was sent to prison for a probation violation and returned to prison in 2003 for a parole violation. He was arrested again in 2008 on assault and drug charges.

If Knight is convicted in this current case, he could be sentenced to life in prison. He is accused of killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle “Bone” Sloan with his truck. His attorney has declared Knight will be “totally exonerated” despite witnesses stating Knight seemed to intentionally hit the victims.
