Travis Scott Talks Falling During Drake Concert, Releases “Birds In The Trap” Short Film

THE TEXAS-BRED ARTIST ALSO DISCUSSES HIS NEXT ALBUM ‘ASTROWORLD’

(AllHipHop News) Travis Scott is back in promotion mode.

The Texas-bred rapper is getting ready to head out on the “Birds Eye View” tour next month, and he is preparing to drop his next album titled AstroWorld.

Scott spoke about the project in a cover story for British GQ Style.

“It might be the best music that I made,” stated Scott. “I have two records on the album that are like, man, they are the best. They tore down AstroWorld to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”

The interview also included Scott discussing that time he fell through the stage at Drake’s concert in the United Kingdom.

“I didn’t fall, dude, I flew,” responded the “Goosebumps” performer. “I was floating. I don’t fall. Sh-t, nothing happened. Floating is amazing. It’s like getting in a plane. I just flew, man. I’m a magician, like David Blaine. I could never fall.”

Scott recently continued the theme of his #1 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight with the short film Birds in the Trap.

Parisian filmmaker Fleur Fortune directed the movie which is streaming exclusively on Apple Music.
