Troy Ave Talks Taxstone, Saving Casanova’s Life & Feeling Like The New 2Pac (VIDEO)

THE BROOKLYN RHYMER SITS DOWN WITH ‘THE BREAKFAST CLUB’

(AllHipHop News) Troy Ave’s 2016 was consumed with arrests and shoot-outs.

The Brooklyn native is attempting to have his 2017 focused more on music like his new project Dope Boy Troy.

Troy visited The Breakfast Club to discuss the release, but he also spoke about some of the concerns he had to deal with in the recent past.

One of those issues being his relationship with fellow BK rapper Casanova.

“I saved Casanova’s life one night at a pool party in Long Island,” claimed Troy. “I saved son’s life that night. If he ain’t a fraud, he’ll tell you.”

According to the 31-year-old spitter, Casanova was mistaken to be someone else and was only protected because of Troy’s involvement in the situation.

Casanova is closely aligned with Taxstone, the currently incarcerated podcast host who is allegedly connected to the Irving Plaza shooting that left Troy Ave injured and Ronald “Banga” McPhatter dead.

Troy did not say too much about Tax’s legal drama during the Breakfast Club interview.

However, the BSB leader did state, “I don’t have no opinions on that man. We didn’t have no relationship for it to get so bad. Look up the FBI indictment. I ain’t gotta say nothing. Look it up.”

The radio show conversation also featured Troy comparing himself to the late Tupac Shakur.

“It’s the second coming of 2Pac. It’s ‘new Pac.’ I go do shows, everything’s different,” declared Troy.

After Charlamagne Tha God suggested people are “going to kill you about that Tupac comment,” Troy Ave responded, “I didn’t say nothing about Tupac… I didn’t say I’m the new Pac. I said the feeling is like on some Tupac sh-t.”
