R&B singer Usher has teamed with the National Hockey League (NHL) to produce two benefit performances during the NHL’s 2008 All-Star weekend in Atlanta.

For the first event, Usher has tapped rapper Wyclef Jean, who will perform selections from his new album The Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant, at the Tabernacle in downtown Atlanta on January 25.

The second event, which will take place at an undisclosed location, will feature performances by Jonas Brothers.

Proceeds from both events will benefit Usher’s New Look Foundation, the singer’s non-profit organization that exposes young people to the business side of sports and entertainment.

Tickets to an Evening with Wyclef Jean are priced at $75 for the concert hall level of The Tabernacle.

The 2008 NHL All-Star Game takes place on Sunday, Jan. 27. For more information visit: http://www.ticketmaster.com/.
