VH1 To Air ‘LHH: Out In Hip-Hop’ Special About Gays In Rap

HIP-HOP FIGURES WILL HAVE OPEN DIALOGUE ABOUT THE TABOO ISSUE

Homosexuality in hip-hop has always been a taboo subject until now.  With Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood telling the story of Myles aka rapper Siir Brock, who struggles with being openly gay with his boyfriend Milan, it it helping to begin the conversation about its controversial nature.

VH1 will be airing a round table discussion, hosted by ABC correspondent T.J Holmes, tonight (Oct. 19) where prominent hip-hop figures and cast members bluntly discuss why being homosexual in hip-hop isn’t fully accepted. AllHipHip CEO Chuck Creekmur as well as DMC of Run DMC, journalist Emil Wilbekin, as well as Ray J, Lil’ Fizz, Myles and many more.
