Vince Staples Offers An Apology For Hurting Anyone’s Feelings, Spoke With N.O.R.E After Online Clash

THE CONTROVERSIAL RHYMER RETURNS WITH MORE TWEETS

(AllHipHop News) Vince Staples ignited a firestorm after saying in an interview he did not understand why 1990’s Hip Hop is credited as the “Golden Era.” His comments with Time also included the Long Beach rhymer stating the decade did not have a 50 Cent or Kanye West and the “early 2000’s is where it’s at.”

The remarks led to backlash from many Hip Hop fans and even N.O.R.E of the rap group Capone-N-Noreaga responded. Noreaga and Staples began engaging each other on Twitter about the controversy. Staples returned to Twitter to reveal he spoke with N.O.R.E by phone, and the two rappers seemed to have settled any issues.

The “Norf Norf” spitter also sent out a tweet stating, “Just talked to [Shade 45 host] Sway. I apologize if I hurt anyone’s feelings. I meant no disrespect. I respect everyone trying to feed theirs. But do you?”

Was Vince’s apology sincere or a continuation of a troll job? He later tweeted, “I didn’t envision this being as funny as it is from the start.”
