(AllHipHop News) Officials in Charlotte, North Carolina are bracing for the return of Young Dolph to CIAA Weekend.

According to reports, the Memphis rapper is due to make an appearance in the city over one year after being targeted in a violent shooting.

Over 100 shots were fired at the rapper during a broad daylight shooting on February 25, 2017.

Young Dolph was embroiled in a feud with fellow rapper fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti, who was also in town for CIAA.

While Yo Gotti was never charged in the incident, CMG artist Blac Youngsta, born Sammie Marquez Benson, was charged with four counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property.

According to flyers circulating online, Young Dolph is set to make an appearance at a local nightclub at an event that is not sanctioned by th city, or associated with CIAA.

“I’m hoping someone’s had a chat with this guy and there’s an expectation the city is watching,” said mayor pro-tem Juliet Eiselt, who is also chair of the city’s community safety committee. “The issues in the past have been around people coming in for these unsanctioned parties.”

Young Dolph, who was wounded in Los Angeles during a targeted shooting, is among dozens of hip-hop artists who will appear in Charlotte this weekend.

CMG artist Moneybagg Yo,
Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Rick Ross, Dave East and others are scheduled to make appearances as well.
