(AllHipHop Rumors) The NFL’s Carolina Panthers organization went up for sale after being investigated by the NFL for workplace misconduct. The allegations would lead to the owner having to remove himself completely from the conversation.Since then many people have announced their interest in purchasing the franchise. One of those people was music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Diddy would go on to announce his intentions to put together and investment group to secure the deal. Members of the group weren’t know at the time, but now more information is coming out about the group.
According to the latest info on the matter, the group consists of Sean Combs, Stephen Curry, Michael Rubin and others unnamed. Stephen Curry is an All-Star guard currently playing for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
Much is known about the former NBA MVP and his love for the Carolina Panthers team. However, even with his achievements, many people may not know who Michael Rubin is. Michael Rubin is an e-commerce billionaire who owns stakes in multiple sports organizations.
Rubin owns stakes in the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, NHL’s New Jersey Devils and the Premier League’s Crystal Palace.With that being said, this elite group is more than capable of purchasing the organization.
Only time will show if their portfolio is enough for them to land their bid for the organization.*
