Uh-oh.
Less than a week away from dropping his new album, J. Cole is stirring up controversy with a song leaked from 2014 Forest Hills Drive.
On the leaked track, “Fire Squad,” Cole sends a shots at a few big name white artists including Elvis, Eminem and Iggy Azalea.
Cole raps:
“History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes,
Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows,
Same thing that my ni**a Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll,
Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and then Macklemore…”
Cole’s album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive drops next Tuesday. Listen to the song in its entirety below:
