BREAKING NEWS: Lil Wayne In Critical Condition [UPDATED X2] Wayne Tweets He’s OK.

(AllHipHop News) TMZ is reporting that YMCMB rapper Lil Wayne is in critical condition after being rushed to L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Wayne apparently suffered another seizure and has been placed in an induced coma. Currently in the ICU unit, Wayne is said to be “unstable” and breathing through tubes. Several love ones are at his bedside. TMZ sources say doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system, and had to pump his stomach three times. Apparently, Wayne went on a codeine binge after being released from the hospital on Wednesday where he was admitted for prior seizures. Rick Ross’ Guyana Concert Canceled Over Rapper’s Seizures

(AllHipHop News) Promoters in Guyana have issued a statement regarding a canceled show featuring Rick Ross that was supposed to take place on April 9. The Miami rapper was supposed to hit the stage at the Easter Fest Rozay at Guyana National Stadium, but the show was abruptly canceled. Organizers confirmed that Rick Ross was forced to cancel the show in Guyana, because he suffered from a seizure. The medical condition left the rap star unable to fly, according to the statement. “The artist has suffered a medical emergency and has been ordered by his doctors not travel,” promoters Hits and Jams Entertainment said in a statement. Reps for Rick Ross have stated that he will make up the canceled date in Guyana, but there could be issues with a missed date in Houston the night before. The rap star was also supposed to perform at the Bayou Music Center in Houston on April 8, but missed that performance as well. Rick Ross will not be rescheduling the stop in Houston.

Rick Ross 911 Tape Released

(AllHipHop News) A 911 call placed to authorities after Rick Ross lost consciousness on a Delta airlines flight, has been made available to the public. TMZ.com posted the 911 call, which was made on October 14, as Rick Ross headed to Memphis, Tennessee from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The rapper suffered a seizure on the plane, which was forced to turn around so he could receive the proper medical treatment. Ross was taken to a local hospital, where he was released a short time later. Later in the day, Rick Ross suffered from another seizure as he attempted to leave on a private jet, which was grounded in Birmingham, Alabama so the rapper could be treated. Although pictures have surfaced of Rick Ross, the rapper has yet to make a comment on his medical condition. AHH Stray News: Rick Ross Won’t Stop, Rappers Support Graduating High Schoolers, Big Boi Cops A Plea

(AllHipHop News) Reps for Rick Ross have confirmed the rapper will make a scheduled performance in Greensboro, North Carolina tonight (October 15). The news comes just one day after Rick Ross suffered from two seizures in one day. In the first incident, a Delta Airlines flight was forced to return to Fort Lauderdale, when the rap star fell unconscious on board the plane. EMT’s revived Rick Ross, who was released from a local hospital. The rapper then boarded a private jet bound for a gig in Memphis, Tennessee. He was forced to cancel a show with Yo Gotti last night, after he suffered a second seizure on the private jet. That flight was grounded in Birmingham, Alabama, where he received treatment at a local hospital. According to TMZ.com, Ross’ reps said the rapper will make a scheduled performance at North Carolina A&T’s homecoming tonight. A number of rappers, artists and celebrities will take part in the 3rd annual “I Will Graduate Day Celebration.” The event, which takes place October 26 at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Haft Auditorium, aims to encourage students to pursue higher education. Rappers like Jim Jones and Maino will make appearances, while popular TV/radio personality Sway Calloway will be among the celebrities that will be present, to encourage students to graduate from high school this year. Also making appearances are Terrence J. from 106 & Park, NBA star Allan Houston, singer Wynter Gordon, Damon John of , Cipha Sounds and songwriter/producer Sean Garrett, along with other celebrities, actors, activists and community leaders. “We have received tremendous support from New York City and school officials, community organizations, schools, parents, civic leaders and community leaders. We are confident that through our collective efforts, the dropout rate will continue to decrease,” stated Tonya Lewis, Executive Director of E4EA. The event begins at 10:00am and winds down at 3:00pm. Outkast rapper Big Boi appeared in court on Thursday (October 13), where he pleaded guilty to drug charges stemming from an arrest in August. Big Boi, Antwan Patton, was arrested as he passed through a security checkpoint after disembarking from a cruise a ship, after drug sniffing dogs reacted to the rapper’s luggage. A search uncovered a cigarette with marijuana residue, ecstasy tablets, and residue of MDMA, the active ingredient in Ecstasy, resulting in four felony charges. Since he pleaded guilty, he must complete 30 hours of community service, submit to drug testing for three months and donate $2,000 to charity.
