Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Rick Ross About To Sign Joe Budden’s Enemy?

Rick Ross in not done expanding his MMG empire and is rumored to be adding another rapper to his roster of talent. According to Hypertrak, Rozay’s newest recruit is a UK rapper by the name of Smiler. Smiler is best known for his song “Big Spender”, which caught the ear of Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden last year…but not in a good way. Budden criticized Smiler’s song because it had a sample from the musical Sweet Charity. Check out what Budden said below about the track: Smiler caught wind of the comments and began going in on Joe Budden on Twitter calling him a “p####” and saying he was broke. Check out his tweets below: Budden never responded to any of Smiler’s tweets, but I’m pretty sure those words stung like a bee. So, if Smiler does indeed get signed to MMG, does this mean there’s going to be a Slaughterhouse vs. MMG battle? Who do you think would come out on top?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Are Joe Budden And Tahiry Joining “Love & Hip Hop”?

While “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has been pulling in huge ratings, thanks to Stevie J’s pimpish ways, the original “Love & Hip Hop” in NYC has been losing cast members daily. Jim Jones and his girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin have both called it quits for the greener pastures of their own show, and Fabolous’ girlfriend Emily B has also announced that she is leaving the show. Well, now we hear that there may be two very interesting additions to the show that are sure to make for some explosive TV. Slaughterhouse rapper and loose cannon Joe Budden is rumored to be joining “Love & Hip Hop”, along with his ex-girlfriend, video model Tahiry. Joe Budden also has a connection with cast member Somaya Reece, who was his rebound chick after he and Tahiry broke up. Tahiry and Somaya had an infamous Twitter battle exposing each other’s DMs, and basically fighting over Budden. Tahiry also used to date Fabolous back in the day, and there were rumors that she and 50 Cent were also a short-lived item, so this could get pretty interesting. Are the possible additions of Budden and Tahiry enough to get you to tune in? Who would you like to see join the show this season?

(AllHipHop News) With less than a month and a half to go before the release of the group’s Shady Records debut, Welcome To: Our House, Slaughterhouse has announced plans to head overseas beginning on May 15 for a string of dates across Europe. The 16-date tour, which is presented by Shady Records and HipHopWorld.NL, kicks off on May 15 in London and continue through cities such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, and Bratislava, before wrapping up in Zurich, Switzerland on June 1. The tour will cap just 10 days before the release of Slaughterhouse’s Welcome To: Our House. Recently, Joe Budden expressed his desire to have the group’s second studio album pushed back. The New Jersey native told JennyBoomBoom, “I’m hoping it gets pushed back to July. I feel like when it’s your major label debut, more time, in this instance we’re only talking about two and a half weeks, that is important to me. The more time the better. It’s more time to prepare. … [The album’s] really good. It sounds big, large. If you listen to “My Life,” that sounds grand. The music, the feel, that is the theme to me — it’s big. It’s triumphant. It’s introspective. It’s really good and it flows well.” Slaughterhouse, which consists of MC’s Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9″, and Crooked I, is currently filming the music video for the album’s second single, “My Life“, featuring Cee-Lo.
