(AllHipHop News) Vybz Kartel, one of Jamaica’s most popular DJs is facing yet another murder charge according to the Washington Post. Kingston police allege that the 35-year-p old DJ took part in the August slaying of a Jamaican man who used the moniker “Lizard.” Assistant Police Commissioner Ealan Powell told the Jamaican Gleaner that Kartel is being investigated in “connection with a number of murders, shootings and gunrunning.” This is the second charge this month, as the police have alsob accuse the DJ of conspiring to kill a 27-year-old music promoter. Despite the fact that his lyrics are sexually explicit and violent in some cases, Vybz Kartel maintains his innocence amidst the allegations. In other news, Vybz Kartel recently made headlines for using a skin lightening treatment and compared the process to lighter skinned people tanning. “This is my new image,” Kartel said in a recent interview. “You can expect the unexpected. I feel comfortable with black people lightening their skin. They want a different look. It’s tantamount to white people getting a sun tan.”
