TIMBALAND LOOKING FOR THE NEXT BIG BOY BAND

(AllHipHop News) Producer and hitmaker Timbaland has joined the judging panel behind a new U.S. talent show to find the next big boy band.

He has signed on for the singing competition, alongside previously announced “architects,” Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and Emma ‘Baby Spice’ Bunton, who will select the singers who will make up a new group on Boy Band, according to Variety.

“I’m excited to be a part of this show and come on as an architect to help guide the next generation of undiscovered talent,” Timbaland says in a statement. “I want to continue giving back to music as I have been. I’m ready to find the next boy band that could change our business.”

Timbaland, who has worked extensively with Missy Elliott and former boy band star Justin Timberlake, among others, produced Jodeci in the 1990s.

The new show, which premieres on June 22, will be hosted by Rita Ora.
