Wordspit: You Repped Hip-Hop Well On “America’s Got Talent”

WORDSPIT REPS RAP ON THE BIG STAGE!

I’ve known the rapper Wordspit for a few years now. I’m not sure exactly how that came to be. All I know is I’ve always admired his skilled. Nowadays, I have an equal admiration for his talent, tenacity and adaptability. One day, I was randomly watching “America’s Got Talent.” I can’t fathom why. Up until that point, I had never watched the show (and only watched after when reminded). Lo and behold, I saw a familiar face. It was Wordspit rapping with a band (The Illest) in front of judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and a sizable audience. Wow. I remember him from much smaller platforms in Brooklyn or some other place in New York with a penchant for penmanship. He killed it on that day on “America’s Got Talent” and continued to do so for weeks.

Unfortunately, it came to an end recentlyy and the same judges that praised Wordspit and The Illest ended up voting the crew off the stage. But, still, I’ve got no choice but to salute the crew. Check out their last performance and see…they don’t leave quietly.
